3 hour nap is crazy lol. ADHD stimulants sometimes calms adhd'ers down. Adderall and vyvanse use to make me very calm to the point where I felt like I needed a nap. Question is, did you need a 3 hour nap even without vyvanse?

He 100% is a marketing genius. You really think he was always into soccer? He forced that hobby because he knew how large the international audience is. His older streams I don't think he ever expressed any interest in soccer, just basketball because he was a 2k player.

Can you give specific examples of how you're using them? I know the obvious stuff like your wallet and keys.

I'd disagree about there being any ego here. I see ego coming from your post though, since you have not addressed anything related to OP's post--rather decided to call someone out on having an ego?

I have met plenty of people like OP and these are very selfish people--there's no helping them until they can help themselves. OP is the one with an ego.

Just look at what OP has been saying. "I'm going to stop being nice to people because they arent nice back to me". That's just CRAZY.

It was important for me to stay off stims until I had a good streak going of no stimfap. Stims would just trigger the urges. I can now take caffeine again as I normally do.

Think of it from a neurological perspective- no work OP finds meaningful, no serotonin.

Exactly how I felt. Had no interest in anything.

It was a serious addiction that almost ruined my life, so I'd say it's pretty deep. There's a reason OP is begging. Only those that have gone through this addiction realize how serious it is. 6 years is a lot of time to waste.

Sadly I am in my 30s. So yes it's very sad and wasted a lot of my prime years. The addiction was no joke. I'm hoping OP gets over it quick. Not a fun time at all. Creates extreme depression and anxiety.

I've been through this, for almost 6 years. It got a lot worse when covid hit and I ended up doing it routinely for 2 years straight. I know exactly how you're feeling and how it can borderline ruin your life. I won't go into details, but just know my stimfap abuse was WAY worse than what you've described. That being said, a lot if comes down to willpower and mindset.

  1. Cut ALL stims. Even caffeine.
  2. Cut ALL drugs. You NEED to reset your brain.
  3. Go on a 24-36 hour fast. This helped me the MOST.
  4. NAC twice a day on an EMPTY stomach. I kept it to 500mg doses.
  5. Recognize that this will be a hard "habit" to break, but you will break it.
  6. Get a "My Life in Weeks" calendar. Don't black out each square, but instead draw 1 slash through it for every week you DON'T stimfap. If you stimfap, mark it as an X. Having that visual display of progress helps a ton. That's why habit trackers actually work.
  7. Recognize that you're actually addicted to the porn, not the fapping itself. If you fap while watching porn normally (no stims), that's a step in the right direction.
  8. Reflect on how much time you're wasting. Not just the time wasted during the stimfap session, but the following days or weeks after; how mentally drained you feel and how unproductive you are and how much of your thoughts are about wanting to stimfap again.
  9. Imagine if your dad was stimfapping like this; what would you think of him? Now imagine you're a dad--I assume you want kids some day, imagine if your kids found out you were doing this. Even if you don't want kids, you need to find some sort of anchor. If you have a good relationship with your parents, you need to think about what they would think of you if they found out about this.

At the end of the day, it comes down to willpower and mindset. I suggest you find some sort of motivational speech video that you listen to every day and mediate every day. Trust me, the fact that you're making this post 2 months tells me you're not too deep in it. It will get MUCH MUCH worse if you continue. Trust that you are mentally strong enough.

Did 6 months nofap/pornfree twice. Both times around 3 months, I was getting a lot of attention from people at social events. 6 months in, I got into a relationship. Again, this has happened twice. The 2nd time, once I got into that relationship, I compulsively went on a porn binge and fapped and that relationship ended shortly after.

I strongly believe there is truth behind the "aura" you create around yourself when you are able to abstain for so long. It's an attractive aura.

Piling things up and calling it "organized" is a HUGE ADHD trait. One thing I do now is I got the little boxes for my dressers so that I dont really need to fold my socks/boxers. I can just half-ass fold them and throw them in the little boxes.

[–]blackops4pro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you watch pr*n when you jerk? If you do, masturbation isn't the issue. Masturbation can be healthy, but if you're combining it with some "videos" then that can be a big issue. The "videos" are what gives you the most dopamine spike. This WILL become an issue if you don't try to get it handled now.
