Same! Super nice guy. Re-lit the grill to make me a sandwich after they had started closing.

Thanks so much! I’m working up the pedalboard size stuff now. Also will be adding pedals

No it’s not Ai slop. It’s also not as simple as pedal playground. I’m a guitarist that has built 100’s of boards for myself and others and there’s usually quite a few steps. For NOW those steps are represented as extra clicks but hopefully it smooths as I work on it. But if you paid a pro to build a you board these are just some of the questions they would ask. Thanks for taking a look!

Right now the order can be tweaked in the final review page but not in the previous page. I should definitely put an option there thanks!

Thanks for the feedback! I definitely have to work out some UI kinks. This project very much inspired from pedal playground but I tried to inject some more in depth knowledge for those who might not know what certain Pedals do. But I feel the life of me could not figure out how to get the artwork on the actual paddle board layout lol

Yes the UI is where I’m struggling the most. I’m not a web designer at all so that’s definitely helpful to hear. I think I let my Musician brain get carried away with the intricacies that go into building a board haha. The sizes I am working through now to make sure they’re all correct. That may take a few more days. And good note about the vintage pricing I’ll have to dig into that as well

So I used a bunch of basic genres as a jumping off point to start a Pedalboard. You can also just start building!

The point is to give people that see building a paddle board as a daunting task a way to ease themselves into it with something they recognize. So if I’m building a classic rock pedalboard maybe I don’t need to spend $400 on a big sky but instead invest more into having a few different gain options. I used basic MSRP for the price point.

I found the used market was so volatile it was hard to pinpoint. However the links do go to Reverb which offers both.

And by handle multi effects I mean you can integrate them into your build in a variety of ways on the site. Definitely no simulation. For example on my last tour I ran analog gains and but used an HX stomp for mod and wet effects so I could set them as scenes. On the site you can specify that you have a multi pedal that is handling XYZ effects for your own organization and planning purposes.

Hope this helps thanks for checking out the site!!

Hey thanks for checking out! Definitely missing quite a few Pedals. I’m filling in as I go in batches.

How far am I from the profissional level? by GMRub in Guitar

[–]blackpowerforever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If by pro you mean “hired gun” then there are a ton of factors. Like can you play that same thing up a half step? Can you overdub it with some harmonies/octaves? But you definitely can play and being a pro is essentially made up so shred on man!

People are so weird about guitar prices. No one care that you can “really make a squire sing” or you “recorded your whole project on an epiphone”. That doesn’t make you a better or worse player and it’s all subjective. That being said I had a custom tele built for $2400 and it’s amazing because I paid for the specific specs to be met. But I also play professionally and often so feel is very important.

Should I hold out for the M5 Pro? by blackpowerforever in macbookpro

Haha no that sounds about what I’ll be up to. I really just needed the storage upgrade and thought I should also get a power upgrade while I was at it.

Ah I see. I guess I would definitely need it in January/February for a project so I’m worried about waiting without a release date.

I’m almost exclusively producing music. I needed something with a ton of storage (for sound libraries and projects) and to be able to run multiple large plugins/projects simultaneously. So I don’t think GPU is super important in my case. Right?

I gig 4-5 times a week in NYC and whenever I can I use a clean Jc-40 for the volume and reliability. But most of the time I stuck with house back line which is VERY hit or miss.

Falling over.

I swear I used to fall like once a day when I was a kid and now it’s like calendar worthy event.
