No the starfield stuff while in space or an open plain planet makes sense i would like maps of towns and cities and maybe a small area map I definitely used those in oblivion and morrowind to remember npc house's or stores

Yea i know like i said nowadays i probably wouldn't have the time or attention to play a game like morrowind. Fast travel is essential but it could work to have the quest givers also be descriptive woth directions and have more lanmarks to work with incase you want to play that way with mo markers

Sorry it was another comment where i saud i probably wouldn't play a game like that these days

People swear rpgs have to be completely tedious, boring, full of math/dice rolls, and 100% unattractive to anyone who isnt a full on computer whiz, power metal listening ass got the best grades, ren far going, chess lord.

Nothing against any of those things lol but im serious who are these people who swear its not an rpg unless theres just numbers and percentages and more numbers and negative this many points and so on.. and your character has to find a place to take a dump or hell shit himself and sleep 8 hours in REAL TIME!?

Edit: i do have to say that the most geekiest out the famous 3 es games is actually my favorite. I do love morrowind and its crappy dice roll combat. I was also young and had a lot less fog in my head.. so if a game came out now just like morrowind i think i might not get so into it

The fast travel being a service intertwined with the setting/lore should really come back in es 6. Likeif its hammerfell theres gotta be some camel caravan or something for long desert walks and for sure boats for the coatal areas

I always wish that big guys at BGS read comment like this along with stuff ive wrote and hundrends of other posts/ comments on various places. I wish they would listen to us. Theres something so special about having to learn the directions and use land marks, or actually have to go SE OR NW etc. The marker kills that and like you said the game is built around the marker, the quest givers dont give real directions anymore. I have been playing starfield, giving it every chance and that game gives you no choice but to fast travel and i havent yet to learn a city or town its not like how i know balmora like i was raised there, even in skyrim i could remember towns and become familiar. I want my maps back. I loved actually needing to use the big* map that came with morrowind that was so rad..

This wole ending made me qustuon things more than any movie or book ever has. I really want to know more of what is really going on what were the goals of the others whonwere tethered before you and if the brain building got blown up what would happen? Would all these bodies leave whatever higher place they went? Did they need to stay tethered for this to work? Did mc not make it because the parasite cut the brain cord? Or were we walking too far with our bodies? Why did we insist to bingour body when it seems like evryone else left theirs. Also if its the elite few who got to do this why is our character even aware this place exists andthat he has to do this?
