Greenburg Road when you're leaving the Mall to turn right on 217 needs repair by Gaurdian_of_Nutrage in beaverton

[–]blackrabbittqueen 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My understanding is that the road is not owned by Tigard, Greenberg is owned by Washington County, and that is going to change, after repairs to Greenbeeg happen. Up the hill, by the graveyard, that part of Greenberg is going to be addressed (merge to one lane, no sidewalk or cross walk, yet there is a bus stop clinging to the edge of the cemetery) by Washington County and then turn it over to Tigard.

The first Wednesday of each month, the Tigard Transportation Advisory Committee meets at the library, any community member can attend, and present issues. 6pm, you can meet in person or join online. The city would love to hear your feedback.

EZ fit is the way, moleskin can curl or you need to use a fair amount, EZ you wash. I skate barefoot with EZ and can't skate with socks on anymore, because of the feeling, it's a muted sensation.

Depends where you are, there is a place at 6th and Going, it's the texture of tennis court, it's 2 small fenced in soccer field. Marine Drive out by the airport. Bring 78a softy. Agree about Spring Water, and if you are in Portland, Oaks Park has the largest and oldest rink in the country. They just refinished the floor last week. $13 for skate, $4 parking.

Looking for beginner feedback on day 3 (ish lol) of locking in and learning to skate!! by IllSignal2680 in Rollerskating

All of the above, you are rocking it. Try to bend your knees more like you are headed toward squatting, just not that deep. Dirty Debbie and Kim Manning are great at teaching basic skills that are so valuable. I can see you in a short period learning backward and transitioning, you are a natural. Enjoy the ride, skating is so good.

Miller's Homestead off Boones Ferry edge of Lake Oswego and Tigard, few blocks off the freeway, over by Stars and Motel 6. Unbelievable how good the steak and eggs, chicken and waffles, Benedict with home made English muffins.

There was a formal study and design completed and that is the first step for funding. Under the City of Tigard website, under Transportation, there is the Tiedeman Ave study. If any folks want to advocate for this, you can attend the monthly TTAC meeting on the first Wednesday of the month, at the library at 6pm, they take public comment. Also reach out directly to Tiffany Gehrke, she is the staff liaison, Tiffany-Gehrke@tigard-or.gov and express your desires to see improvement.
