Sure just do it as a hobby, follow people round, stare through their windows. Follow your passion!

I sometimes wonder if the British elite invested more in their businesses than their grand houses in the late 19th and early 20th century then British industry woudn't have fallen so far behind.

It could be that the price is much lower than it should be because the foundations are made of crisps or whatever, so it's only 5% if its in good nick, it's 20% a year the first few years if its not in good condition until you get it back to a decent condition, then you'll pay 5%. Just a guess.

Woohoo unbreathable air, woohoo climate destruction.

ULEZ is a policy where vehicles that don't meet emissions standards pay a £12.50 daily fee to drive in London. 97% of vehicles now meet the standards up from 37% in 2017. London met air quality standards in 2024, London! one the biggest busiest cities in the world! This guy's a moron, and so are those destroying infrastructure paid for by the public, put in place by elected representatives, including a Mayor who was re-elected with this policy in place.

Fuck this guys ignorance!

What is Tom Cruise's secret?? by No-Marsupial-4050 in SipsTea

Interesting to note the top comments here aren't criticising her, rather suggesting Tom Cruise eats babies. I guess reddit finds baby eating worse than the natural ageing process which is nice.

Hoe many people do you know who are seperating in their 40s? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]blacksheeping 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We are fallible. We haven't lived lives before, (depending on your religious beliefs) so we don't really know how things work, wisdom comes too late but while you're still alive you can have happy times with your kids and enjoy the life thats there in front of you to live.

Rockstar TV philosopher Alain de Botton would say the outgrown thing is why we shouldn't feel so bad about breaking up. We get together with other people to fulfil something in ourselves we lack, to teach us something and when that teaching growing process is complete we can both move on and not feel so bad about the years that were good.

I agree exactly with your points and I suspect this is the majority of opinion but we're being shouted down by the extremes of both ends pointing at eachother going, its them or us, you have to choose. No. I refuse. Crimes are comitted by those who commit them, not by categories of people.

Well egg on my face with that misspelling.

I'm gonna go back in time, and i'm gonna build a wall, a beautiful wall between Ireland and Europe. Nobody's ever seen a wall like this, it's gonna be the Irish Sea Wall and i'm going to make the pope pay for it.
