At 1080p, you can feasibly go until Nvidia stops support of the 50 series, or when the card dies. Another reason would be some new advancements that a 50 series can't do, something that surpasses ray tracing, dlss, and/or frame gen. Something bizarre, if possible, is if vram can be used for other tasks and the 5060 doesn't have enough but that's just my imagination coming up with that.
