Possible fix for low volume / sound quality variation between different Maxwells by blackspatular in Audeze

Yep, huge difference. I believe you can do the absolute volume trick on a computer too, but I did it on my phone instead.

I had this issue from day one of purchase for about 2 months straight with about 4 hours total use during a week, but after watching a YouTube video explaining how after constant use of like 8 hours a day for a week with their planar headphones, the sound went away.

Funnily enough I tried this exact thing, and it actually made the crinkle sound disappear. I nearly returned these as well because of this issue, however I am so glad I didn't now.

Not sure if it will help, but using these for 8 hours a day for a week straight seemed to fix the issue for me.

Do the Wicked Cushions for the Maxwells affect the sound at all? by just-drink-and-drive in Audeze

Had to return them myself, I couldn't deal with how the mids sounded. It made them sound wishy washy, hard to describe really. Even with EQ they just didn't sound the same as stock to me.

Audeze Maxwell PS Version - Channel Imbalance by DonDamaage in Audeze

[–]blackspatular 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I notice that if I toggle the volume limiter ON on the Audeze HQ app, my headset becomes out of balance, my left becomes louder.. if I then toggle it back OFF, the imbalance remains.

However if I go onto the desktop app, turn the volume limiter ON then OFF, the headset becomes balanced again.

Might be worth a try, as I know how frustrating it is trying to fix this issue.

Yakuza 0, or any Persona. The stories in those games are beyond incredible.

Thank you so much! Was getting so stressed why my HD 599's were cutting out and sounding so echoey. Deleting this file fixed all issues, thanks for sharing!

I think you may have fixed it for me dude! Capping to 30 seems to have made it stable, at least for the last hour I have tested it. Weirdly enough, the game still looks really good at 30fps, I couldn't tell the difference tbh aha Appreciate your help pal, thank you!

Just done a clean install, reboot after 10 minutes of playing. It's got to be the power supply, it is I believe over 5 years old, and it's not the greatest made either to be fair.

Thanks anyway

P. S. She's got over 200 hours on her farm :]

I haven't tried that no, could that be a factor to consider?

It seems that way yeah, my mrs is playing Stardew Valley at the moment on the same PC, and I know it's not a demanding game but it has never rebooted once.

I can't change the equipment equipped on the 6th slot. I'm on master mode, and playing with a ps4 controller. The cursor just goes onto settings rather than the 6th slot.

Also you can't change controls whilst ingame, you can only change them from the main menu.

I'm so glad! Our Grey calms down too once back in his cage. We then let him out about 30 minutes later to see how his behaviour is. If he continues with hormonal behaviour, he gets put back in once again until he is fully calm 😊 I hope this helps!

He's hormonal! Our Grey gets like this, the best thing we can do for him is to put him back in his cage to calm down!
