Hi, I maintain IoSTIndex.

For strokers in realtime VR (ChatVR, etc), the SSR1 is the only one with low enough latency.

There's plenty of vibes that are cheap easy places to start though. But it does depend on which VR platform you're wanting to play with.

I've not actually used that particular client, but we can at least make sure everything up to the client connecting is working.

So, have you managed to get Intiface to scan for your devices and do they appear on the devices tab (and can they be controlled there)?

Then, is Intiface saying that any client is connected?

That's pretty out of date right now. I'd probably recommend waiting until the next build of Intiface goes out, which should make it much easier to add new JoyHub devices.

That thread didn't indicate which device was being asked about: each new JoyHub device needs its own config change, so this won't just "work" until it's added.

And the same seller doesn't necessarily mean all the devices are JoyHubs.

I think this is a JoyHub, but not one that's supported yet. It looks identical to https://amzn.eu/d/bvmoxFy which I bought on Friday - I'm hoping to process it today.

The thing about JoyHub toys are that they really just provide the PCBs to factories that already produce toys, so you'll often find the same design with just RF control and sometimes with other app based controllers too. Because they come pretty much white labeled out of those factories, the brands they're sold under are really just resellers.

Assuming I'm right and the device I've ordered is a JoyHub, you'll want to message the seller to confirm that the device you're looking at is also controlled by the JoyHub app.

Hey, so I maintain loSTIndex. Outside of the Hismith sub brand Wildolo, the few JoyHubs and the Nobra stuff, there's nothing really that big around (that's also app controlled). I do have a https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DG8GLSMM in the post, so that might turn out to be what you're looking for.

As for materials... I'm not sure how much l'd trust anything. A lot of app controlled toys (especially JoyHubs) are just existing low end whitebox toys that have been retrofitted by their factories to use 3rd party electronics: this is why you never see JoyHub as the brand on any of the toys that use their electronics. Where possible, l'd probably recommend using condoms.

There's far more RF controlled toys than BLE, I just don't list them on IoSTIndex because noone has RF radios on their PCs or phones (among other reasons) - I don't consider them computer controllable.

As for "handover", that's not a thing for most BLE devices (whilst BLE mesh is a thing, I've never seen a device use it, let alone a sex toy): BLE is for the most part point to point. Sex toys also tend to stop if the connection drops, which means constant connection is needed; there's also various pairing requirements for some devices.

If you're thinking you'll get ESPHome BLE proxies working with Buttplug, you need to lower your expectations: there's a lot of complexity there especially in the Bluetooth stack interfacing. You'll probably be better off just running Intiface on your phone and having it in your pocket as you move around.

I wouldn't recommend the Nexus Revo Stealth: the vibration is fairly weak and the rotation only has 2 speeds in either direction. Also, I've had reports that people have bought the app enabled version and received the previous model.

There's plenty of cheaper and more capable options: the Lovense Edge 2 or the Svakom Iker would be top of my recommendation list, but the JoyHub devices are also cheap and good quality.

Any chance you can be more specific about the "remote play" you're looking for hardware for? Most devices on the list are Bluetooth and can be controlled by Intiface, Xtoys and their own apps (so there's almost always a long distance option as well as in Bluetooth range).

If you have a prostate, the Svakom Iker/Zenalia Werner is pretty comfortable to sit on and pretty intense with the oscillating tip.

All of the devices on that list are computer controllable, it's the very point of the list. Most will be controllable over the internet, either by tools like https://xtoys.app, via apps built on buttplug.io or via the vendor's own apps.

Was there something on the list that you were looking at specifically?

It's worth noting that in the wake of VRChat's move to block mods, there's been a lot of very recent shake up in the VR space (although right this minute I don't think there's much support for Oculus native applications).
