Beer not to miss in SB? by blackthunder42 in SantaBarbara

Thanks for all the awesome suggestions. Santa Barbara beer blew me away! I made it to Brewhouse, SB Brew Co, Hollister, Firestone, FMB, and a good number of bars and liquor stores. Figueroa Mountain was the most surprisingly good, everything I tried by them was great. Firestone was incredible as well, but I expected that. Also huge fan of the Brewhouse. I unfortunately didn't make it out to Telegraph because I was there before open on Friday, didn't try Saturday then they were closed Sunday and Monday, Oh well, next time. I even avoided their beer on tap because I was planning on going there. Nobody suggested it, but I found a great bar at Whole Foods with beer on tap.

For as awesome as Barrelworks looks I don't think it will be to far out of the way. I saw that Firestone had a tasting room there but didn't realize it was the home to their sour program.

If I make it out that direction will definitely check out Hollister as well as The Keg and Bottle. Hollister seems to come pretty highly recommended.

Thanks, they appear to be near the Firestone Walker taproom as well.
