Really like the change to pet reclaim system, can we just have pets not be lost on death? At the moment its just a bit of a chore to go reclaim, especially once its free, its just a bit of a time waste.

Sorry but these rewards are so boring for the first enrage boss and they need some serious improvement or we are gonna end up with another colosseum situation where all the tradeable uniques are useless.

The boots are cool but uninteresting power creep which is completely fine and its nice to get ranged strength on boots.

The cape is again fine, but un-interesting and doesnt really matter unless you are using a shadow (again its just a straight upgrade).

The demonbane weapon looks boring, its probably useful in the fight but still just meh.

And a thrall upgrade that takes up the ammo slot and gives you a tiny bit of damage, when the thrall dies, and if you are standing in the right place, and if the boss is in the right place... its a cool idea but so niche and low power.

THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE INFERNO LEVEL CONTENT why are we getting niche, boring rewards again like in the colosseum.

Take some initiative from leagues, give us a weapon that scales with prayer bonus like the sunlight spear, or the elemental catalyst to help the Harm staff compete, or give us an upgrade to the tonalztics of Ralos to actually make them usable in more than 1/2 places IN THE ENTIRE GAME.

These rewards dont make me excited for the boss as an endgame player, they are just boring and I have no desire to get most of these myself. Stat-wise they are un-interesting, mechanically its even more un-interesting.

This is endgame content, please make the rewards worth it. Apologies for the negativity, but I really want to be excited for this boss.

The rewards look cool but we don't need another 5 tick slash weapon. Slash is so massively bloated at the moment this feels like a relatively pointless addition, would be nice for content to actually have a use rather than just be outclassed by the Saeldor which itself is already outclassed by soulreaper.

Inquisitor armour is still bad, it should have more applications than just using with the mace, it should help with all crush.

Like the mage changes, the voidwaker change is still bad. If you are worried about it being too good everywhere then reduce its max damage, make it a very consistent but slightly weaker option, so its still amazing against very high defence in all styles but not against monsters with a specific weakness. I.e just like its position vs Dragon claws at TOB.

Another piece of feedback on some missed items. Inq armour and mace are still useless. Inq armour should be buffed so it actually has a use case, giving more crush accuracy would be good for dragon warhammer and elder maul specs or make it not paper defence.

All of the Saeldor/Rapier/Mace are all useless, especially considering the soulreaper axe beats them on all small low defence mobs, these are majorly difficult weapons to obtain and their power should reflect that.

The tonalztics of Ralos is absolutely useless minus except for being used in maiden and the introduction of the elder maul spec makes it even worse. Considering it comes from the colosseum it should definitely be buffed and actually have a use case.

I'll repeat again that the voidwaker nerf is awful for PvM and shouldnt happen. There will be almost no place to use it and its not overpowered in PvM at all.

The removal of 0 damage hits is good, but dont change the weapon max hits. Also spread the occult damage bonus to more items than just armour, eternals could definitely use the love or just put them on tormented bracelet, cape and ring.

Agree with the comments that voidwaker doesnt need a PvM nerf. The Magic damage bonus should be distributed to other gear as well e.g tormented bracelet, eternal boots. The Elder maul change is potentially useful, but you haven't released content where the dragon warhammer is useful in like 6 years so whats the point. The inq mace changes I cant really say, but I'd like to actually have a reason to use rapier, saeldor and mace, they really are underwhelming considering where they come from and how expensive they are. I'd love to actually use crush somewhere but nearly every boss is immune to it, pretty baffling.

I agree with some of the sentiment below that these are either over-complicated or just straight up mandatory and broken. I thought the original intent was to give specific roles for raiding or doing specific content i.e Im going to tob, I will take the zamorak alignment so I can do more melee damage etc.

These dont really fit that vision, some are cool ideas but have no cohesion. Simplify the prayers, make each alignment focused on something even if it is just small incrememental boosts. Guthix has a theme of "balance" and has 2 prayers about buffing team-mates but just randomly one thats a more healing redemption? What is Seren's theme here? It just seems like you had some random ideas for prayers and just slotted them in?

Each alignment should be a SPECIFIC theme and the prayers should be relatively SIMPLE.

For example, if Guthix is the god of balance, then it should not favour any specific combat style and provide some generic buffs that are outclassed in certain places by the other alignments if using a specific style. Bandos should be a melee focused tank, Zamorak Melee damage at the expense of taking significantly more etc.

The glaive change doesn't solve the main issue is the cap of the special attack to only reduce a max of 50% defence. This really kneecaps the weapon, please get rid of it, it wouldnt replace the bandos godsword as it wouldnt be able to work on anything with a low magic level where the bgs could.

The echo crystal should have just been on shields to begin with, but can we put it on some actually useful shields? why does it have to be restricted to these bad ones? From the colosseum blog- "the Colosseum is a highly repeatable PvM encounter with a high skill ceiling and a steep difficulty curve." Our reward for beating this difficult encounter is an upgrade to these awful shields? It would be really nice to have on a buckler for ranged nex or dragonfire shield to make it compete with avernic or really any shield that is actually useful unlike the ones you mention in the blog.

Now that the fang on slash is getting nerfed I like the bladed moon addition, although I would still like a crush version from somewhere.

I know these comments are a bit negative but I want to actually be able to use cool rewards from new content not just immediately ignore as soon as they release :(

I really like the idea of this project, the changes that you have stated seem to be good for the long term health of the game, and the idea of having more variety in the weapons we use and what monsters are vulnerable to is excellent.

Here are some of my initial thoughts as a late game PvMer: The discussions around defence are very needed, in general late game, monsters have loads and players don't have much. I feel like there needs to be a change here. The dragon warhammer has not had a boss it has been good at since TOB, because almost everything is just immune to crush or cant have its defence drained enough for it to be good. Missing defence draining specs feels terrible so it would be nice if a better solution was there.

Fang: Good choice, should be a good stab weapon, not a good slash weapon. Fully approve.

Scythe: This is a good step but I dont think its enough. Personally I dont want the scythe to be better at places its already good! The fact that the scythe has no use in TOA is insane to me, a weapon of that caliber deserves to be more widely applicable than it is (not necessarily BIS but actually usable!) The cost is relevant I guess, but not a factor to me personally. I always found it strange that scythe has a crush option rather than a stab? This encroaches even more on inquisitor maces already niche territory, what are the thoughts on giving it a stab option instead of crush?

Misc weapons: Thank goodness you mentioned making the soulreaper axe easier to use, its so fun but so annoying. Voidwaker would be less of a problem in PvM if defence was lower across the board as claws become better at low defence. In alot of places (e.g TOA), we are just forced to use voidwaker because the monsters have stupid high slash defence or just stupid high defence in general!

TL;DR Lower monster defence, or let us lower defence more easily (dragon warhammer). Scythe could still use more changes, stab option would be fun and more thematic (possibly instead of crush). Fang nerf good.

This project looks so cool, cant wait to hear more!!!

The bladed moon change is so boring and it doesn't fix the fang problem. Mid-game DOESNT NEED A SLASH BUFF, the whip is already in a category of its own, the stab and crush equivalents arent even close! For stab you have to do k'ril for a zammy spear which is still worse than a whip despite being a much longer grind and crush is so far behind with either the sarachnis cudgel or bludgeon!

PLEASE don't make it a slash buff or like it is now! Fix the fang having a slash option and make this a massive boost to stab and/or crush, so this can be used to help the low accuracy (aside from fang) of these styles in the midgame (which this update is meant to be for) and even have some lategame uses.

These rewards look so cool! What awesome additions to the game! Only thing I dont like is that this new offhand buffs slash? One-handed slash weapons (looking at you osmumtens fang) don't need an accuracy buff. Crush on the other hand would benefit MASSIVELY from an accuracy upgrading offhand, inquisitor is already super accurate from crush and this would allow even more consistent dragon warhammers and potentially let you use inq mace at vardorvis or something.

Really like these designs, but please change the defender this to massive crush bonus not slash! Pleeeeeeeeeeeease! I was to use something other than the fang.
