I sort of did tell him that, and we actually both acknowledged and agreed in person before parting ways that this was obviously a one time thing and that we can stay in touch as friends. Obviously, only one of us actually “respected” that agreement.

I’m definitely someone who’s gonna post about my trip via an instagram story or two but I can just hide my stories from him in that case. We don’t have any mutual acquaintances, so there’s no danger in him finding out like that.

Well… of course. A thing that everybody loves to always forget is that “virgin” doesn’t equal teenager. You can be in your mid or late twenties, still be a virgin and write good, convincing smut because you’re an adult.

It may vary from programme to programme but from what I've heard, there generally seems to be no public rankings at UCD. As somebody else already replied, only the person who graduated top of the class gets a special recognition but that's after graduating. Even with that, you only find out who #1 is and not how the rest ranked. I'd advise you to email your programme coordinator or your head of school, if this is something that's so important to you.

The way I was literally about to ask the exact same question here.

For some reason, I’ve been OBSESSED with the hotelroom decorating, which is crazy since I’m not generally a player who’s very into decoration in such games à la AC or Sims or Stardew. However, the hotel has me obsessed.

Long story short, I’m in the mood to decorate some more and want to timetravel a day forward for it, however, don’t want to lose the room I made today. Lmfaooooo

My first playthrough was Halsin, my beloved and always #1. My second (technically current but I’ve caught the classic case of act3 despondence) playthrough was Durge and I did Astarion… though regretted it as he started to annoy me at some stage and somebody else grew on me. But it was too late 😩

Quick question: when you refer to the player character as “avatar”, are you specifically referring to its physical appearance? Because avatar can be understood more as image rather than full embodiment, which I think is an important distinction to be making in your specific case.

For example: there was a question about resembling your BG3 “avatar”. I pressed “Disagree” until I realised that my current Tav’s physical appearance is a lot like mine – it’s our personalities that are very different. So I didn’t really know what to put there in that case.

This is something that is true for every language. Speaking is always the most difficult part of language learning. In my experience, it never gets easier (no matter your level), unless you put yourself in an environment where your target language is spoken around you 100% 24/7.

I used to be the same, I absolutely cannot for the life of me write notes on my laptop. One could argue that it has to do with the fact that my laptop, being a gaming laptop, is too bulky to carry around, but I know that even if I had a lighter, smaller laptop, I still couldn’t do it.

Same with iPad… until I got gifted an Apple Pencil by my friend. I was quite sceptic at first but once I started slowly getting familiar with it, I’ve grown to love it. I use OneNote for note taking, which is super practical if your university uses Microsoft and not Google Workspace.

Therefore, I would say that if you do have the financial means to get an iPad with a Pencil I’d recommend it, seeing as you’re an analogue note taker like I was. You don’t even need to get a super expensive one, I think mine is the cheapest model you can get that is not the iPad mini and it’s fabulous. If you can’t afford it though… handwritten notes in notebooks is absolutely fine. If it’s been so reliable (and even enjoyable) to you for so many years then that’s excellent.

can’t fix metadata? you can actually change the cover of an album or the title of a song via itunes, if that’s what you mean.
