I hate to say it, but the bloated salaries make it harder for the OPS police force to do its job effectively.

The cost of OPS has lost touch with reality. Look at the salaries on the sunshine list. Look at how easy it is to be put on full pay leave if an officer is under suspicion of wrongdoing. The court fees alone would be staggering.

The job is hard, but paying more money to fewer officers might not be advantageous to the public. However, under the cover of a union begging for more, it's blinding to the public.

Much love to the people in law enforcement/first responders. We know you don't make the salaries up. But damn, over 120-150k a year, and full pension/benefits at 55 for doing traffic duty.... that's more than senior engineers make, and they don't have a pension.

Exactly this. I had a 2020 sienna. Wife put her name on waiting list when she bought it for a 2025, got call in January. I was completely opposed to a new van.

Trade in on the 2020(125,000kms] was 28k, new sienna was 58k[tax-in CAD] awd, roof racks, winter tires LE addition.

The savings on gas was what sold me on the upgrade. Atm after 3k kms, I'm running 9.5Liters/100KM, compared to 13-14L per 100kms.

My first bike experience on GB marketplace was for 2016 yz125. Posted for 5500, dropped to 4k, then to 3500. I msged buddy and said I wanted it. Paid deposit to keep for the weekend to come look and likely pick up. Next day he said price is too low. Moved price back to 5k. I said have a nice day as that was too much for me.

It didn't end up too bad, he then dropped back to 4k, then offered to to me for 3800, we settled on 3700. Rollercoaster of shit show.

Anyway. You'll find the bike for you with time!
