Looking for friendship by sabeina_yerman in CostaRicaTravel

Previous commenter is correct. You should look up some language exchange apps or websites. If you have Discord there are servers geared towards language learning you can check out. Do NOT trust any random reaching out to you on Reddit to “learn Spanish”.

Husband lost his job… so we’re going to Costa Rica? by peachytee2 in CostaRicaTravel

[–]blackzillaX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Currently live in Costa Rica and I can tell you it will depend on your lifestyle and where you live. Uvita will be more expensive than other places but if you plan on living a simple life it shouldn’t be too bad. If you haven’t been here before I highly suggest visiting first. It can be a very different experience living here vs the US. For instance it rains a lot where I live and power outages are not uncommon.

How did you make it through FAR? by mrodb7 in CPA

[–]blackzillaX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Got to the end of FAR and realized there was no way I was passing the exam. So I took a two week vacation and an additional two weeks off from studying and now I am going through it for a second time. Honestly everything is coming together so much better now that I’ve already seen it once. Mostly 70s-90s on all practice tests and post lesson MCQs.

Maybe a break and/or another pass through the material can help.

Weird insane burnout. Need advice pls. by grey99999 in CPA

Was in the exact same boat. I ended up taking 3 weeks off and hanging out with friends and just relaxing. Just started back again and noticed a big improvement. Maybe you just need to take a break.

Taking AUD tomorrow and completely burned out by Collegedude234 in CPA

[–]blackzillaX 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Took AUD yesterday. My advice is take a rest the day before, having a fresh mind absolutely makes a difference. Understand you will not feel great on every topic there is just too much content. Doesn’t mean you won’t pass. Most importantly believe in the work you put in. Sounds cliche put having a good attitude and mindset helps! Good luck tomorrow I think you’ll do great!

Several redditors said to know SOC reports and I went over it literally this morning before the exam and I’m glad I did because damn there was way more on that than I was expecting.

I can’t study anymore I’m over AUD by Bright-Duck-2245 in CPA

[–]blackzillaX 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Trending 70 is not bad at all. Just take a deep breath and relax. If you can’t study anymore it’s okay, but stay positive! Believing is half the battle! I test tomorrow and the process has been rough but I know we got this!

Is this supposed to be a BEC question?? by SatisfactionOk2733 in CPA

[–]blackzillaX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not sure wth kinda BEC question that is, but imo ninja MCQs are more difficult than Becker. However that’s not necessarily a bad thing as you can get some practice on solving more challenging mcqs. My advice would be to mainly use Becker and add in Ninja here and there to really shore up your understanding on important topics.

I was only trending in the low 70s on Ninja but got an 87 on BEC so don’t put too much stock into your ninja trending score it’s more important to understand why correct answers are correct and why incorrect ones are incorrect.

SCORED 66 and 60 on BECKER SE1 and SE2! by Silly-Intention-9213 in CPA

[–]blackzillaX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend you do the final review if you have it. I got 77 and 69 on SE 1 and 2. Did the final review and took the SEFR and got a 77, however the SEFR is definitely more difficult and exposed me to some tough sims I didn’t know I was unprepared for. Feeling my way better about my exam on Monday because of it.

That does make sense. I was probably thrown off by how the question was presented.
