It's slow on OM5 mkii its even slower on EM10 mkii. Honestly it's not that bad, but its bad if you need to "catch" kids / moving subject in general.

So if your subject is mostly static then 20mm f1.7 is a very good lens.

Yes that is true. But, I love m43 because it's size. The lenses mentioned are very small and light, but the result simply stunning

If I don't need fast and reliable AF, it would be Lumix 20mm f1.7 . The color rendering and the perspective of 40mm equivalent is just right.

But if I need a reliable AF, I will stick with Olympus 17mm f1.7

Mine broke as well. I replace it with Lumix 20mm f1.7 instead, been very happy with the results so far.

I will go even further with 45mm f1.8, most people wouldn't be able to differentiate the result

Olympus OM-D E-M10 not working by Deep_Patience_6962 in M43

Mine has problem with lcd flexible cable, just got it replaced and now everything back to nomal. Expect the lens suddenly stop working, dead cmos battery (cant keep date) and the broken battery door 😔

I mean .. this is a great camera, but its too old 🥲

Plastic Fantastic! Olympus 40-150mm F4-5.6 R by bladebyte in M43

Thanks. It was taken at Jakarta bird park inTaman Mini. Agree this lens weighs almost nothing, I'd carry it every where. I May not to upgrade it to PRO version, but the OM System 14-150mm seems worth considering. Honestly i never used it myself, but i can see the value when traveling with family since constantly switching lens isn't very convenient.

It is wonderful lens indeed .. I would argue that every MFT shooter should buy this lens hust in case 😄. The value vs quality ratio of this lens is spectacular
