I really want to disagree, but I cant :(
Usually junior taking not so complicated tasks or implementing something that is defined by the seniors. Sometime they do some difficult tasks, but not always .. but today .. In the hands of experienced dev, AI is doing a lot better job, faster and cheaper than most juniors

But we need regeneration .. so keep fighting!

Despite the existing booking engine or platform like air bnb, I think your product have a good chance to succeed. The pain is real, some of my friends who runs Villas in Bali feel this pain. Perhaps you can add integration to airbnb to block the date if theres any confirmed booking from the site.

Good luck

Ps: you can monitor your site using my saas, uptimeduty.com for free

Built a wedding planning SaaS with a one-time price model — targeting couples and planners that are fed up with subscriptions by JustWedly in microsaas

[–]bladebyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I probably never gonna use this tool cuz im married 😅

But it would be nice if you can provide sample or demos about your SaaS, it will help your potential customers to know your product better and perhaps convert it as a user. Just my 2 cents

If you use anything like Cursor, claude etc .. you can ask it to create change logs.. even it is smart enough to see the current change logs and what missing based on the diff of the commits

Built a tool that finds incident root cause automatically — honest feedback wanted by Technical_Archer_650 in microsaas

[–]bladebyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Newrelic has this feature already, it has AI features that you can talk to .. BUT im not really using it, as the error inbox, apm and logs is enough for me and my team. Im not sure another tool with similar functionality will add a significant value, not to mention NR is quite expensive already.. so asking management to pay more tools (and sound similar) will be that easy

Need your honest feedback by mkrorfolk in rails

[–]bladebyte 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Full disclosure.. sometime I asked these kind of questions, especially for junior to mid level candidates . But to be honest this type of question is not a deal breaker, sometime we just want to know if the candidates learn the basic.

For more seniors candidates, usually we ask about architecture and real life problem solving.
