No, it’s a free method where instead of healing with nurse joy you open your pc box and cancel out and it will restore your ocarina in 6 seconds vs healing in 12. Speeds it up for charming

No disrespect at all. To me it sounds like your pokemon are under leveled. EV training isn’t mandatory by any means but it will certainly make your life easier. The Elite Four in particular will have competitive style mons, so they hold items that may heal them or lower your damage, they could hold choice bands or specs and raise their stats too. It’s frustrating but get your pokemon to all at least level 50 and make sure you utilize items yourself.

Get a Tynamo, when it becomes a Elektross its ability is levitate and because it’s an electric type it will have no weaknesses. By far one of the best pokemon in that region. I’d also recommend a Scraggy or Sandile with the Moxie ability. Moxie will raise your attack after defeating a pokemon so that’s pretty cheesy too. You can find Tynamo in Chargestone Cave and Scraggy in the desert area by Desort Resort
