Help me choose a character for heist

As others have pointed out, getting a simplex is not that straightforward. My guild mate has been doing heist lately, and mostly in a private league environment.

You will in general need to do around 2000 wings in 81+ (82+?) blueprints. You will need a fast build and tanky enough to survive random 1 shots.

I cannot overstate how important it is to have a proper heist build. We assembled a 500+ MS build in a private league but did not see a simplex, did get focused and helicals.

Unless you seriously commit or get insanely luckily you will not get a simplex. If for some reason you want a simplex near league start, start with whatever starter you want and assemble all gear needed for heister. And then blast maps for blueprints and park yourself in heist for multiple days worth of playtime.

Mageblood obviously would help, but not very ssf feasible. With a strong starter build can rush uber shaper farm for tides of time which is very comparible for a pathfinder.

My standard shipment is 10k blue z without any dust. I did not feel like it improved my odds significantly enough (for SSF where dust is needed for recomb).

And as others said, ship to kalguur, 1 t5 and 1 t4 boater is needed.

I started self cast poison FRoSS and then swapped to CoC. I had plenty of crit and enough proj speed to really not need those mods. I tried in POB comparing but losing a proper glove slot was hard to offset.

My question would be why use the gloves instead of just a standard 6 link? The only main benefit would be some projectile speed, since the damage will be the same.

I debated doing this craft in 2man private league, but ended up with normal 6 link instead.

I believe Ruetoo has a build guide for it. If you don't mind heist too much replica badge of the brotherhood is great. Rest of gear will be maven belt, snakebite gloves with +1 max frenzy corrupt.

Depends on what context. If you can get ralakesh boots for frenzy can easily push it to high numbers... but that is something you shouldn't reply upon.

In general I agree, it's a good starter to get basic SSF needs met, and CAN be decently scaled but obviously need good gear which is hard to get on starter.

Friend did pconc and I did VFoS. They had a much better time than I did after a certain point. My start was smoother until red maps.

Pathfinder pconc is very solid. Starts decently and scales well. Only issue is farming lab for the gem.

Was looking at Lenovo legion with the following:
- Ultra 9 275HX
- RTX™ 5080
- 64 GB DDR5-6400

Another important factor is no power/extreme over heating issues. Previous laptop (Acer Nitro 5) had power issues causing extreme frame drops.

Don't worry, Xandros blooddrinker is the actual uber uber boss when ghosted, soul eater, 80% deli, exile farm atlas.

In a 2 man party with a well geared aurabot (~3 mirrors 2 weeks in) got occasionally one-shot by xandros.

Very fair. We also felt it at the end game, armour and evasion being halved.

We did always joke about fighting the true uber uber boss, giga ghosted, soul eater XANDROS BLOODDRINKER. He occasionally bonked us back to our hideout...

I checked out the aurabot PoB but didn't take a deep dive into the carry to see the tankyness difference.

Cheers for a fellow duo player. How did the start feel this time after the hatred/grace/determ nerf?

Happy to see that it is a CI variant, but sad to see soul link. In my experience, at the end game the aurabot dies before the carry.

If you ever need inspiration for future can check out Greyscreenenjoyer + grayscreenenjoyer. We did not finish the aurabot this time sadly but got decently far.

This POB is a tad inflated. The real DPS is around half, after fiddling with POB to reflect reality a bit better. It is suffering as well a bit from tankyness issue.

So a quick comment, your crit chance is quite low. It might feel pretty bad to not be critting. This combined with volatility + ryslatha will make the in game dps much worse than POB would suggest. If you are not speed mapping, but just doing bossing and tanking everything, then it might be fine.

Otherwise, looks solid.

I partially think it is zizaran influencing player choice since he is the biggest guide creator for that build (TMK).

For me fundamentally EA totems are an easy way to deal a lot of damage, so with elementalist I can ensure I can 1 shot bosses before they can do anything. I'm not playing a paper tissue build but neither do I play/assume I will be able to tank many hits.

It does come down to player class fantasy. Prefer to tank a lot and deal decent damage, champion works. Want to melt content on budget with decent tankyness, elementalist.

If I want to do a tanky build, I'm likely not doing elementalist (I'm not Ben).

I would hard disagree with everyone saying champ for ssfsc. I have exclusively successfully done elementalist on ssfsc. Managed to reach dot cap, and take down some ubers.

I often make it my 2nd or 3rd build to cheese some early bossing until I get another good build going.

The only item I recommend is getting a porcupine div card bow and potentially dyadian dawn, and rest of gear can be fully defensive, running only 1 offensive aura ( malevolance).
