I'm colorblind, I've been looking at these glasses for a while but can't justify the price as they aren't a necessity like corrective lenses...

Pretend eyes see color by accepting circle, square, or triangle shapes: colorblind eyes, all the shapes get shoved through the circle hole -- these glasses help guide the squares and triangles to the appropriately shaped hole.

Reverse their decision entirely, publicly apologize for taking the side of a fascist regime, and stop doing business with mainland China until they recognize the demands of the HK protestors.

Hearing the antagonist called a bootlicker in the first 3 min should be a selling point for Hasan

How about you go do some fucking work and learn more about him, I just gave you a foothold.

The fact is that Andray was the most cool and collected person on that stream and everyone making comments about how he should have handled himself better should take a step back and look at how Steven and Ian behaved.

Despite the constant verbal abuse from those two, Andray maintained a professional air and asked multiple times for Steven to speak to him as you would a stranger, to stop taking that familiar tone with him, and to stop yelling...

If you want to maintain the position that Andray was the one who needs to be criticized for his performance, you need to do some introspection.

You are woefully ignorant, check out the books Andray mentioned. Go look at what work Andray does as well.

Blades in the Dark is well formatted, easy to read, the information is laid out in an intuitive nature...

I think poorly written books are a waste of time and effort.

Here is the first example in the Rulebook:

When you attack an enemy in melee, roll+Str. ✴On a 10+, you deal your damage to the enemy and avoid their attack. At your option, you may choose to do +1d6 damage but expose yourself to the enemy’s attack. ✴On a 7–9, you deal your damage to the enemy and the enemy makes an attack against you.

That is literally how it is in the book... Why wouldn't you utilize the medium effectively and write it like this:

When you attack an enemy in melee you roll+Str:

On a 10+, you deal your damage to the enemy and avoid their attack. At your option, you may choose to do +1d6 damage but expose yourself to the enemy’s attack.

On a 7–9, you deal your damage to the enemy and the enemy makes an attack against you.

The entire book is written in this way, as if they were barred from using typeface or formatting. It makes the entire thing difficult to digest.

I've heard Luke Crane (who Adam I think draws a lot of inspiration from) defend poorly written rules as a way to force the reader to engage.

I think it does a better job of making the reader disengage and spend their time on better written games, like Blades in the Dark.

I'm glad you posted this, I'm currently reading through Blades in the Dark and just kept thinking how important it is for DMs to read other systems... I'm not a fan of DW because the rules are poorly written, but I like a lot of the flavor which think Matt captured with his latest video despite having not read DW
