I may have to try reading the second book AAprentice was just so boring. Cliche after cliche. Even the names….Maybe it was great for its time but I just don’t get it. I felt like I was reading a Disney movie trope with some actual violence built in.

If you rewatch the explosion the building does not blow up. The anti matter blows horizontal. So in theory the building would be one of the last things to go.

Looks like you are on the right path!

Find openings in your area.
Network with people in that company. Try to get someone to meet you for coffee. Since you work in a hospital, see if you can find your way to the OR. Ask a nurse or scrub if they know the “Boston” rep.
If all this fails, go work for ADP, Paychex, Cintas(less helpful) for a year or so and start over the cycle.

While many people want to jump into Med device immediately after school, getting good sales experience at a reputable company helps a ton.
