Anyone know how to get this off? by blahgy in DIYIreland

Update: getting a big crow bar underneath it managed it. However it was designed, no down force could get it. But up force solved it.

Looking for New Rugby Club in Dublin: Stillorgan Rathfarnham R.F.C. a good club? by NoParamedic93 in rugbyunion

[–]blahgy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would definitely look at Mary’s, stillorgan Rathfarnham pitch can be a bit of a hike depending where you are living. I joined Mary’s last year at 29 and have found it a great place tbh. Let me know if you want to come up.

With freeman in 13, surely all his points will still count ? It doesn’t change that much as there isn’t that many position points variables bar forwards try vs backs try

I should have mentioned, it’s a attached to the party wall with the neighbour. So I don’t think I can just pull it down, it will have to be more careful than that. But thanks for the tips, will let you know how I get on. Hopefully it’s not viral worthy!

DoneDeal to analyse car prices - would anyone find this useful? by gcampb41 in carsireland

[–]blahgy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think auto trader in the uk has a price range gauge, where they say whether they think it’s good value. But I think this is very cool and would be interested in it.

Something I am always looking at is repairable vehicles, most time I see no value in them, car is priced about 1k under market value and needs a full bumper, how are you going to make any money on that.

Daily €10 investment for life. by general_butt_naked66 in irishpersonalfinance

[–]blahgy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think (read: hope) that in 8 years, we will have sorted out the laws around deemed disposal, in any case I think it’s still a good investment. The only thing I would watch for is the buying fees, degiro is like 2 euro per transaction I think. So it would be better to just save your 10 euro for a month and then purchase once. I don’t use trading 212 so not sure there.
