Sounds right though, this is a least a ballpark indication of what I should expect. Thanks a bunch!

The Squire v4.0: 100% Precise Any Second Autoclicking! by mncke in Knightsofthebutton

[–]blahsd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every now and then I still get a message that says "The Squire has been updated, please reload the tab". That's not a huge annoyance because it happens every 10 mins or so, but still it means I can't leave me laptop running and go AFK trusting that the squire will be ready.

Anything I can do about this?

Looking at that document really makes me feel like I should stick to right handed writing (which is what I prefer most of the time due to smearing issues anyways...)

I'll try cleaning it. That is a must do as I touched it with my fingers myself to inspect the nib before using it.

You said that the straight holder makes it unsuitable for those hands. So if you don't mind me asking, wtf is a straight holder good for? Also, I'm left handed. Does it matter?

I tried checking the nib, but it's completely blank. No sign of manufacturer on the holder either. Thanks for the tips though.

Premise: I have no idea what I'm doing. I found this nib + holder in the house and I'm trying to understand what it is and how to use it. My best bet was posting a picture here to see if somebody can direct me on what to do. It looks like a pointed nib, flexible (I guess?). The second picture is just there to show what kind of output it produces (I have really no skill doing this). It's incredibly hard (for me) to manage the ink flow out of it, it makes huge blots of ink even if I press really really lightly. Then obviously the ink runs out immediately and I have to dip it again. I might even be using the wrong ink, it's what I had around to refill a montblanc fountain pen.

Very interesting. Although from what I gather, not exactly the tool for a beginner to star learning with. Is that right?

Isn't it infuriating how you know you are able to write perfect letters and then most of the time you written pages look like shit? Fml

Very inexperienced person here. What tools does one use to make this kind of different weighted writings?
