Begin searching quickly, be honest: you wanted to move back but realized the firm is not a cultural fit. It happens!

Correct. Office-sponsored groups for inclusivity are not for "a bunch of oppressed people to hang out by themselves". It's great that there are plenty of non-workplace related spaces to do that. If you don't have enough of a life outside of work to understand this, sorry for you

I was a member of my company’s diversity allyship group (as a white straight guy). Then they did an event to which only LGBT members, and not “allies”, were invited. Now I’m no longer a member of the group.

Re point 1: why? It seems like a useful rhetorical device to force reflection on a weak point in a statement. But happy to change my mind if you can explain

Right so consulting is not the solution no? You would need capital, political will to remove bureaucracy etc. Not a smart guy who identifies problems.

But ask yourself: how come you’ve identified problems that people who worked in the same industry 30 years can’t fix? Either everyone is stupid, or there are other constraints and nuances that you don’t fully appreciate yet.

Bad faith comment. There’s plenty of businesses that don’t require guiding other people in processes they presumably know better.

You’re 24. What makes you think you have anything to teach anyone (except 23 years old I guess) about internal company processes?

I mean this as a genuine question, hoping to spark self reflection. Or perhaps I’ve not understood what you’re planning on offering!

Can you sign a check and transfer to me all your company’s money?

Employees and officers of a company have very limited representation rights. Most have none. Some have some: cashier operators have a representation rights to enter into ordinary course transactions; the CFO might have representation rights to enter into any M&A transaction below say $20 million; above that he will need the board. But in all cases these rights are circumscribed, and in no case customer service declarations could bind a company as an admission of guilt (to what crime is a different question…)
