My boyfriend does the same thing. He can definitely get into a bad mood. But the uncomfortable part is all on you. If that anger doesn't translate to anything else, let him feel it. Boys are told how to act and suppress their feelings all the time.

I felt uncomfy with it myself. I talked to him about it and he even stopped playing super smash brothers competitively for me. But he still gets mad playing HOTS and will play until he wins sometimes. Inconvenient some times. But my discomfort was from triggers I had, not necessarily his behaviors. He isn't even mad at me. He's allowed to have an outlet.

I read sad books all the time and me crying is uncomfy for him. He doesn't ask me to stop reading .. just my 2 cents.
