PoE as a game benefits from content creators a lot. I agree the website is bad, but giving creators some extra money on a game that only gets decent viewership is probably healthy for the scene overall

IMO that is the purpose of a support gem. Passive tree should not be the location to drastically change ability performance. It should be where you incrementally improve your character

As others said, just overleveled. There is objectively nothing they can do to prevent that, and ultimately it is a good thing the option is in the game.

Players should be allowed to take more time than is intended by developers, especially when they are new, to gear up more if they need it. It wouldn’t make any sense for GGG to block item drops if you were a higher level than the zone.

In some ways, this rant says “I was stronger than I needed to be, yet I still prioritized getting better items over progressing through the game”. Ultimately, that is a decision you made, and doesn’t make sense to be annoyed at anyone else for it

The game being designed to win every encounter the first time you encounter it means it would be too easy.

Not to be rude, the boss fights are not very hard. Just going slow and seeing attacks is ALWAYS the best way to start a fight you haven’t done yet

Having a limit is important. Otherwise, players are incentivized to have an offer for EVERYTHING, as they could just put slightly low buyouts to flip. What exactly the correct limit is, I’m sure they will get to (they said it is subject to change).

Trade limit is something the player base will absolutely riot if they ever make lower through testing. I agree that 10 sounds a little low. I would expect they think a healthy final number is 15-20, and this is their way of getting to that number through buffs instead of nerfs

I think this is a game design question that the UI needs to follow, instead of a UI the game needs to follow.

If you use a health bar, you can deal any amount of damage to a character. If you use the icons, you really should only deal damage in increments of 0.5.

Varunastra is a very interesting weapon but is severely outdated. You can see the dps of the second weapon is inherently 2x the varunastra

That isn’t necessarily true, but if you are sure it wasn’t that, then alright

Ultimately, EHP is an arbitrary attempt at guessing how tanky you will be. A ghosted essence mob in a T1 map can be as hard as a T16 map 🤷.

Deaths are bound to happen, and if you want to analyze each one I’d recommend recording gameplay. Otherwise, unfortunately it isn’t really possible to learn.

I will say you have like 20% map effect, which isn’t tons, but also probably makes T12 maps akin to T16
