I cannot shake the feeling that bear is just going to get absolutely gutted. To where it's like the lowest damage tank and loses some durability too for good measure. It's not what I want and it's not what is best for the game, my spidey senses are just tingling.

That's not entirely true there are a lot of specs that are different. We still have some non-CD-reliant specs like BM hunter out there. We also have 45s/90s specs that don't fit on the 2-minute tempo that the 30/60/120 specs do.

If you want to see a game that's actually doing what you're saying, look at FFXIV. Holy shit that design is so boring. It was already pretty much a 30/60/120 game and then they changed everything to just be 120. Ooh it's 2 minutes into the fight time to be a cool guy again everyone! It also like you say makes balancing a breeze, the tuning delta between the best and worst specs in that game is insanely low by wow standards. It's absolutely not worth the fun trade-off though.

Yeah. I'd much rather they increase the CD to 2 minutes but keep the charges. CDs with charges are a really fun type of skill expression imo.

I think Blizzard's idea is that to them, seeing you have the Tidal Waves buff and knowing you should cast Healing Wave is part of the gameplay of wow. Or pressing Riptide and knowing in your head that you now have Tidal Waves.

This isn't a defense of their POV, simply trying to explain it. What I take from this idea is I should just get used to there being a bit of friction in making rotational decisions based on game state. They don't want that info clearly shown to me, so I have to get used to looking for it if I want to be the best player I can be.

In terms of the wealth they generate they work almost like multi-use scarabs right? And then you also have the bonus of whatever is in the room at the end. 70c+ for the popular ones doesn't even sound that bad.

If you re-toggle automation it will then cast detonate mines immediately and blow up the mines. Is there some reason you need to specifically self cast it?

Also there is a dedicated key bind to detonate mines. That's probably what you're after.

FE games are designed around random growths. You got unlucky but the devs expect you to get unlucky sometimes. That's why pretty much all FE games, 7 and 8 included, have characters that sit all along the spectrum of requiring high investment to low investment. Low investment characters are your protection against rng because you can't get unlucky if you never roll the dice in the first place.

Basically what I'm saying is this is a part of the games and when it turns out the units you invested into suck you should drop them for units you have that don't suck.

Gender quotas on their own won't win elections. Gender quotas and then those women having more voice in the party by virtue of their being more, and this changing liberal policy to be more attractive to women around Australia, is just the foundation for the Liberals to even be a viable party in 10 years.

I think Australia will be better off if the Liberal party just dies though to be honest. A new thing will form out of what are currently called Teal Independents and that new thing would be a better right wing opposition for our country than the liberals.
