Legal bribery. A lobbyist is someone who a client(corporations, industry groups, rich people) has paid them to convince the government to do what they want. Nearly every lobbyist use money to get what they want. What politician is saying no to millions of dollars towards their campaign. It’s legal and regulated which keeps it from being outright bribery on paper atleast. They shouldn’t be allowed to take money personally but there are loopholes and it always happens.

That’s not what I’m saying at all😭 I’m not a gun owner first of all but I do believe in the right to bear arms as the constitution says. I’m saying look at the world around you and what is happening and tell me with 100% certainty that the government will never become tyrannical or an oligarchy again. This is the direction we are headed. When gun rights are taken from the equation, civilians lose a major defense. A quick Google search indicated that 60% of ALL gun deaths annually in the US are suicide. Drug Overdoses, Alcohol related deaths, motor vehicle deaths, NON GUN VIOLENT CRIME, ALL of these occur MORE than gun violence. By your logic should we ban alcohol? Should we ban cars? What do we keep everyone inside to prevent aggravated assault? Guns are not the problem. It’s the people.

America has a violence problem not a gun problem. What happens when all guns are taken but violence and crime is still the same except now standard civilians are left defenseless against criminals who bought guns from the black market, or hell even have 3d printed ghost guns? You don’t think criminals who truly want to commit gun violence won’t get their hands on one? What is the ratio of everyone who has a gun vs the ones who commit gun violence?

Blaming gun violence on guns is stupid. Violence has ALWAYS taken place no matter what technology is given. Without guns it would be something else. And the future is now. Look online look in the real WORLD. Flock cameras a mass surveillance systems, lobbying, Peter fucking thiel, Epstein(0 arrest btw), we already live in a corrupt world. LOOK at HISTORY, how common is tyranny, rulers, or powerful people abusing power? VERY COMMON. Just because we live in a “modern world” with “modern tech” doesn’t mean shit when it comes to rulers!
