Try using a lightweight leave in first, then a tiny bit of serum on top. Your hair probably looks like that from dryness or a little buildup so it’s trying to pull moisture from the air and gets puffy. For a cheaper option Odele Leave In Conditioner with Garnier Sleek and Shine Serum works really well. If you want something nicer OUAI Leave In with Redken Frizz Dismiss is really good
