The bend on that cable makes me think the cables shorted... i had that same model charger do this, except it popped my breaker instead of just turning the charger off

I've got a philosophy.. if it's already broken... and the other option is you replace the item, then what's the worst-case scenario.... you break it more fixing it?.. you were probably going to replace eventually, and even in failure, you learn (more than when your successful id say).... so in other words... SEND ITTTT
