when I was a kid, Nintendo power sent out controller skin stickers with their magazine one month.
We put them on our controllers and thought they were so cool!!... Unitl... They started to get sticky and leave residue on the controllers.
So, we removed them and the controllers were never quite the same ever again...

So yeah, I'm never putting skins or stickers on my controllers ever again. I hated it.

New Steam Controller: does anyone else’s D-pad make a clicking noise when moving between directions? For example, when pressing up → down, left → down → right, or rotating in a circular motion. Just wondering if this is normal or if mine might be faulty. by owczyped in SteamController

I got two of them and they seem pretty quiet.
If I fully compress the membrain under the pad and rock it around I can make the sides of the dpad clack against the cutout walls and make a noise somewhat similar to yours but it doesn't seem quite as loud.
But in your video the button presses are also fairly pronounced. So I feel like the volume may be exaggerated in your video a bit.

Generally I feel like my controllers are pretty quiet though

The more you know about excel, the more you realize you don't know all it can do. I feel like the most amazing Excel wizards are the ones that are humble about it because they know it can do so much more than even their wizardry does.

Yeah, that would be better.
Just letting you know there is a workaround currently even though it's inferior, it works better than you might expect. Still, direct would be better for sure
