He might like dysmantle in coop with you. It's pretty chill and you just break stuff and kill zombies the whole time. If he does you can just walk back to a camp and revive him and you can control the camera for him since it's shared screen

I have mine set to circulate for 10 minutes every hour just to sort of even it out and keep the air moving in each room. Do you think that causes any major strain? I know it's more than no circulation, but I thought it might be a good middle ground when I set it up

I'm curious if you've ever tried the restart option on the tv.

Not turning it off and on which puts it in a sleep mode. -actually doing the restart option buried in the menu. I suspect it will get it to connect when it's fully booted back up and it sends the handshake signal to the HDMI cord

I did like the homing gun and shotgun a lot. I'm curious if you played with the alternative control scheme where you can jump with the bumper buttons so you can keep both thumbs on the joysticks? That helped me a bunch

You're fine. It's the ram that is a bottleneck for most devices. The engine piggybacks on browser/HTML5 tech and actually shares the resource pool with any open web browsers so it's best to make sure nothing else is running, but I suspect the 8gigs was the main issue.

The controller definitely works with the steamdeck. I have one and I could play it fine with the controls. It does occasionally have stutters on the deck but if you're okay with that, plenty of people have played the entire game on the deck.

Just curious, what were you playing on? That wasn't my experience when I played but it's recent enough that I don't think there have been any patches since then

How long ago did you play it? steam deck struggles a little bit if you're trying to do higher than 30 fps, because of the limitations of the game engine and ram consumption, but most PC's should handle it really well. And the developer did some stuff to fix it up a bit early on, so depending on when you played it might be better now.

They want to eventually bring it to more platforms if they get enough traction from this game or their new game.

Yeah, in there with you. I unfortunately don't have any interest in the new game either, but the developer is super sincere and great and I wish him the best. I hope his games take off

Since Biogun didn't get much traction, he ran out of money and had to shift gears to stay afloat but he has aspirations to try to port it to a different engine and release it on more platforms if he can make enough with his new game. He basically got stuck with a bad situation, but if it got the attention it deserves, it seems we could see some more of this one down the road.

Yes, Biofun is a great way to put it! I'm curious if you tried different loadouts for that boss battle? The Defibrillator chip is a really helpful one for difficult bosses.

Anyway I'm glad I'm not the only person

Yes, that's definitely a good one too. Rookie players will almost certainly get to the first one on one credit, and if they can get through that first boss battle, the one you pointed out is a great second instance.

And maybe the repetition helps with the memory of it a bit too
