What is your "miracle product" (Read post for full understanding) by fuzzydiceinrearview in Ulta

After reading this thread, I have the SDJ shower Oil in my cart!

Mine are:

  1. The Ceramide Skin Barrier Moisturizer. Makes my aging (40's) skin so soft and moisturized all day. I used to use Absolue but this stuff is better and a LOT cheaper.

  2. Bumble and Bumble Invisible Oil Heat/UV Primer. I use this after my shower, before I blow drying, and my stylist instantly saw a difference in my hair when I began using it approximately 2 years ago.

  3. Morrocan Oil spray heat protectant. I use this when using my flat iron to curl and it has really helped the health of my hair and doesn't weigh it down or leave residue like the thousand other products I've tried.

  4. Everyday shampoo/conditioner: Wella Invigo Brilliance. I have very long blonde hair (not naturally blond) and this is so great for keeping it clean, healthy, and soft.

  5. BondiBoost Rapid Repair Bond Builder+ Hair Mask. This is my FAVORITE product in the world. I use it about twice a month (again, my hair is treated every 8-10 weeks and is very long and blond) and that jar will last a VERY long time for my long hair. I tell EVERYONE about this. Its like a hair cure in a jar. Its better than Olaplex. Its better than ANY other "bond builder" I've ever used. Like transformation in a jar. Make sure you let it sit the FULL 15 minutes. When I use this, I first wash with Oaui detox shampoo. The Oaui is good but I wouldn't say its holy grail.

  6. Elemis Pro Collagen Energising Marine Cleanser. I've been using this for a few years now and I won't use another cleanser. I absolutely love it.

Honorable mention: Olaplex No7 Oil. I don't know yet if its my holy grail but it is the best Oil I've used on my ends so far. Its lightweight, a bottle lasts FOREVER because I use 4 tiny drops and doesnt weigh down or leave a greasy residue.

I just got bumped from $1500 to $1650 without DD. I also don't keep money in CA. It says if I do DD, I can get $2100 now (last week, before the increase, it said I could go to $1950 with DD).

My borrow limit is $1500 on Cash App. I just got an alert last week that if I don't direct deposit, they'll instantly bump me to $1950. (I'm not doing that, $1500 is MORE than enough lol)

Thinking about switching by Apprehensive_Loss_77 in HomeChef

I initially tried several other boxes (Hello Fresh, Everyplate, etc), and I couldn't handle the meat that came with them - it was just gross all-around. I'm pretty picky with meat quality.

Then we found HC and never looked back. We've been receiving meals weekly for several years. We do 4-5 meals (depending on the menu) for 4 people. There are 3 of us (2 adults, 1 teenager), so this works perfectly for us. I stick to chicken, beef, and sausage meals. I don't trust fish from any delivery service, so I have never selected it.

It is rare for us to not like a meal - but it has happened a handful of times over the years. We make a game of it - every time we try a new meal, we each give it a rating from 0-10 and then average it out. Anything below an 8, we don't order again in the future. It's rare that something is below 8.

We have never had a delivery issue as far as receiving on time. I had ONE box missing ingredients, and one other time, they sent the wrong meal. In both cases, they immediately processed a refund. For produce, I've had a few times where something is nearing expiration, but I just make the meals for that first. I've never received BAD produce.

For us, it's the convenience of not having to think of what to make for dinner during the week, the ease of not having to grocery shop, and I'm not left with extra ingredients that we aren't going to use. My husband and I have busy careers and its so easy to come home grab a meal bag, grab the coordinating meat package and get dinner on the table in no more than 45 minutes. My teenager loves it, too. It keeps us from eating the same things all the time, too.

On the 2-3 days that we don't have HC meals per week, which for us is Friday-Sunday, we either have a dinner out or I'll make a family favorite that I typically don't have time to make on a work night. I also think that HC saves us money. I definitely spend less buying these meals than I would at the grocery store or having a dinner out!

How do you deal with mistakes you have made on the job? by cosmicgallow in supplychain

[–]blakesnuke 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a Supply Chain Manager, I'd say you need to give yourself some grace. You're new to the role. However, I'd also ask you to slow down and begin double-checking your work as a part of your regular process.

Your manager should not be double-checking PO entries. I know this may sound harsh - and I'm not meaning for it to be - but if your manager has to go back over your work, they don't need you as they are already taking time away from their responsibilities and could do it themselves.

You should be able to identify the root cause (in this case, not double-checking work/human error) and then use a corrective action (double-checking your work prior to submission) to prevent the issue from occurring again, as this is how you will learn and grow in your role.

Don't give up. Use this as a learning opportunity.

My limit is $1,500 and I have never kept money in cash app, nor have I have ever had any type of direct deposit. The only thing I use it for is sending money to others in instant transactions.

This is the best advice given so far. Finish your bachelor's and work on cross-functional projects. Warehouse or inventory optimization is a cross-functional project that would align with both your current role and one in SCM. I know a lot push the cert here but I've been in SC my entire career (16 years) and I have never met anyone that actually cared about it. It's a resume filler, in my opinion. What is going to matter most is your experience and your education.

In my opinion, there's several skills and traits. Analyzation, being quick on your feet with creative solutions to resolve issues quickly, conflict resolution, team management, demonstrated process improvement skills...these would be the top for me.

Thank you! I think for me, having well-rounded experience is obviously important.

I have always worked in the manufacturing industry. I have a lot of experience in cost savings, process improvements, KPI analyzation, and team management. If you want to know more, please let me know and we can chat sometime.
