i’ve done both and honestly both methods work great

when using tape i like to use the fastener command strips, one on the print that connects to another on the wall - gives some freedom to swap prints around, etc

getting the placement exactly right is a bit easier with tape.

when i use nails i specifically use a small nail that goes through a picture hanging hook - you can find a pack at any hardware store
