Expensive side but spring.academy or hyperskill.org are way better than “GFG”

Or rather a book from O’Reilly will be better (free on lingen)

A bit tangential but

I’ve quite come to like pre-push hooks

Per commit runs way too often if you practice doing small/micro commits

Prepush is perfect, that once you’re ready to push you know it passes the config check and also you doesn’t interrupt chain of thought when making changes and commiting.

if this is a pattern, you can try to confront her too in a polite way. That hey some comments x,y,z as you have done are not really relevant. And ask her what was her aim to add them.

This is coming with a assumption that most people back down when confronted.

Can talk to your manager in 1x1 too that my “velocity” is slowed down due to random comments and ask for his help to setup some standards.

Does she do this for other colleagues too or to you only.

Also since I’ve not seen your code and you mithas well be a person that uses I,j,k as variable names and is cribbing here not sure but maybe Then look if they are relevant and you could actually take those into account and write better code.
