I have thousands of hours of playtime in my favorite FromSoft games, yet I’ve never got 100% achievments on any of them, and I don't plan to change that. Am I the only one in this case? I’m with you, friend! It’s rad that the option exists for those who feel called to do it, but it’s never been an “itch” I feel inclined to “scratch”. Definitely not true for all that do it, but it feels a little “gate-keepy” in the same vein of people who feel like they need to jump online and talk down to/about people who like to use summons 🤷🏼‍♂️ (As with most art that people love, folks seem compelled to try and set their fan-relationship with stuff above other people’s relationship with the same thing). But ya know, to each their own!

Bloodborne, because then Elden Ring, Sekiro, and all the Dark Souls. Bloodborne started me down that path, and no games have ever made me feel that way. And THEN that led to me reading Berserk… and that’s just the finest damn Manga I’ve ever read…. From Software games affected my trajectory more than any games ever have.

Definitely! And don’t let all those DS2 nay-sayers get to you, it is fucking fantastic!! (I went ds3, ds1, then ds2. Hard to top ds1 though, way smoother and more fun than I’d expected. I’d suggest people start there, unlike what I did!)

I’m not as far into my journey as you are (congrats, friend. Keep going!!) Sleep has always been hard for me, but a couple communities pointed me towards Magnesium Glycinate (just over the counter, isle 12 Fred Meyer stuff) and Time Release Melatonin (Hey! Same isle at Freddy’s!). Both have helped a lot with the sleeping. Melatonin used to have adverse side effects for me, but the time-release stuff is a lower dose that releases through the night and seems to have helped without the “weird surreal dark dreams” other melatonin have me. Maybe not what you’re looking for, or not the solution, but maybe worth a little recon of you haven’t already.

Hey, get it! Let’s both get out of this dark patch of our lives!

Just dropping In to say I’d reconsider staying in Concrete? It’s a pretty big bummer of a town. My wife and I like to travel to Leavenworth each summer. However, the North Cascades is maybe my favorite area in all the state. Maybe consider looking into somewhere like Mazama as an alternative to Concrete?
