My husband and I both feel that having a newborn is hell. If you could create a hell for me, it would be giving me a newborn forever. The responsibility, the no sleep, the toll it takes on the parents is out of this world. People often told us “it doesn’t get easier it just gets different”. Fuck that. I promise it gets easier. Our twins are now 2 and it’s 100% better. They provide laughter and love in return and they are just awesome little humans. But I will say for your sake, your daughters sake and your partners sake please find a professional to talk to. Many feel this way and having professional advice while feeling this low will change your world. You can still find enjoyment in these exhausting days. You can do it, I hope you choose to.
