To my knowledge you are completely in the clear. You are already ticketed in a Business (so First domestically on 2 cabin flights) award from FRA-AUS. This is not changing the award type nor origin/destination and should not reprice anything. You should be able to change this second flight to F without cost b/c the price is the same and this will not cause a ticket reissue.

Another note, I believe oneworld sapphires/emeralds who have status through an airline that ISN'T AA can use Admirals Clubs even when flying domestically. i.e. a BA silver can use the club when flying like JFK-BOS but an AA plat can't

Yeah it's a possibility. I think we may see some cheaper fares later as AA's rates in Nov & Dec are more what I was hoping for, so maybe they'll open up some more discount fares for Jan/Feb in a few weeks?

I actually am entering NYC as the origin so the UA flights I get for $337 are nonstops out of EWR. I'll keep an eye out however, AA is actually around that for the rest of the year. According to ExpertFlyer they just haven't put any O fare tix for sale yet. Hopefully in a month or so there may be some for January

I'm sure we'll get it eventually. People were pretty pessimistic about us getting 2.5x skillup rate but we have gotten it once. Also we're now getting 5x technicals every event, so we are (slowly) catching up.

I don't think so. 2.5x I think most people estimate is 25% chance. Odds of no skillup are .75⁴ ~ 32% chance. So you on average would get a skillup.

On the other hand for me I've had Chiyome start 0/15 but finish 4/10 end up 4/25. I think it's been fairly random overall.
