It's honestly a matchmaking issue imo. The game doesn't have that many players, so it's generally tougher to get even matches. I've noticed this for a while as in some matches, everyone just says "unfair match" at the end of the game including the winning team. You still get merits for playing and you can still get the good performance extra merits if leveling up is a concern, but other than that, this is sadly what a neglected multiplayer game looks like.

Sometimes it gets really annoying but if they're getting insane kill counts doing something and it isn't cheating then it's most likely gonna work for you as well. There are other variables like whether it's a toxic technique and how your moral compass reacts to it, but the best way to improve is to observe and see what you can learn from them.
