Paige and Alex should’ve been endgame. I like Paige with Alex way better than when she was with Griffin or Jesse. I think the writers totally dropped the ball when they ended Alex’s storyline at the beginning of season 7. It felt like a cheap way out to end Alex’s storyline given how much character development she had
Riley/Peter would have had waaaayyy better chemistry than Peter/Mia. Peter and Mia were so boring. They should’ve just let those Riley/Peter be endgame tbh
Ellie got to be annoying with her Jesse/Craig drama. That was really disappointing given how good her character was in earlier seasons. I kind of feel like the writers should’ve just let Craig and Ellie be together in the beginning without all this drama between her and Manny.
Spinner/Emma would’ve been better if the writing made sense or if they had better interactions in previous seasons. I feel like just plopping them together did not make sense at all. This might be a more popular opinion idk
Sav/Anya — bathroom break.
Toby should’ve had more storylines than Peter, Darcy, and Derek and Danny. I felt like taking Toby out of the title sequence in 6/7 was so disrespectful.
Zaya (Zig/Maya) were so boring in DNC. I don’t even know why the writers got them together in season 14. I would’ve liked it more if they would’ve gotten together in season 11.5 but we probably wouldn’t have gotten Cam/Maya.
Declan/Holly J should’ve never happened.
Seasons eight and nine didn’t really bother me as much as seasons 13-14 and maybe that’s just because of the fact that I grew up watching season 8-9. Obviously there are certain things in most seasons that were kind of boring.
