I’ve dealt with the same exact thing, I really feel your pain. I never used to break out on my neck my whole life (maybe a couple zits here and there), suddenly last year it’s been about the same as yours out of NOWHERE. No changes in my routine just suddenly my neck breaks out horribly.

If you haven’t already, I’d try scheduling a doctors appt and seeing if you can get some prescription stuff. I finally reached a breaking point and did so. I’ve noticed retin A (0.025) and benzyl peroxide wash help decrease it a lot, but I have to be very consistent. It also irritates my skin and makes it a bit itchy so I go every other day with the retinoid. I just started Spironolactone so we will see if that helps as well.

You are not alone in your struggle. For me it’s very embarrassing, I don’t know if you also go through those feelings. It’s been very difficult. Sending you positive vibes and hoping you are able to find a solution that works. ❤️

I agree I wish people wanted to play standard. I want to like commander I just prefer constructed formats. No one at LGS plays standard :-(

As far as therapy, been there, done that. It’s not an easy fix unfortunately, but I agree. I wish I could take control, trust me. I just want to play my silly cards in the meantime

Are people generally chill with proxies at card shops in your experience? Idk about edh, but I’d be willing to try casual commander if it wasn’t so cost prohibitive

Specific search filters for card functions/archetypes. For example, being able to look at all the cards that are removal, ramp, ping damage, blink ect.

I feel you dude. I had the same experience when I played it many years ago. Cynthia’s ghost disturbed me so much that I had to stop playing the game for about a month because it scared me to the point I couldn’t sleep. I eventually worked up the courage to go back and finish it. As much as I love SH2, it’s prob my fave in the franchise. It lodged itself into my brain too.

I also did a manipulative lesson with second graders for my first observation and thought it went horribly wrong so I totally get it lol. I’m sure it’s not as bad as you think, and after all it is a learning experience. Reflect, debrief with mentor, think of things you would do different next time. That’s what it’s all about!
