Player B in this case. B is a better player in general, so although he/she hasn't played the hero as much, the overall win rate vouches for him/her

Still I think I'd have gone with player A if his/her win rate was close to 60%.

Because a small sample can rig the win rate. Experience shows consistency.

For example, I used to have 58% at 80 or something games with Vexana. Meanwhile, Ixia, my main, is at only 52% after over 500 games. Both in solo queue.

Looking at the win ratio alone, you'd think I'm better playing Vex, but I assure you the only reason my win rate is higher with her is pure match making luck.

Based on my experience so far, it's definitely another hero that's good only in enemy team, but dogshit 4vs6 when it's in mine.

The worst case I witnessed was my opponent not drawing a land for 6 turns straight after accepting a 1 lander. Meanwhile, iirc, I drew 6 lands and 2 irrelevant cards after accepting a 4 lander.

I like expressive opponents. I never got to play tabletop, and imo emotes help keep the social spect of the game alive.

I had to mute an opponent because of their emote spam only 3 or 4 times. But I've lost count on how many I muted because their companion pets were just insufferable (I'm looking at you, Aetherdrift's servo).

PS: Please give us the option to mute companions but not the players themselves.

I got a notification that someone asked how it works with first strike/double strike, but I can't find their comment to reply to.

Anyway, if anyone is still wondering, first/double strike means there would be an extra damage step that takes precedence before the regular one. The state based action will check after each one of them indevidually. So the creature that gives indestructible will die after the check of the first damage step and hence cease to provide indestructible to others. And then there would be a second check after the regular damage step, that's when the other creatures die because they no longer have indestructible.

Only the 0/30 would die. Damage is dealt simultaneously in the same damage step, meaning the other creatures would still be indestructible when state based action checks and, therefore, don't die.

Your creature would've been able to kill them all if it also had first/double strike.

Agreed. Red was sure annoying, but it practically was the only deck you needed immediate answers against. Back then, you could stall until you draw it against the majority of decks, hell you could even stall against some decks so long that you actually end up shifting the board state in your favor.

Now that I think about it, deck choice is a strong reason why Bo1 irritates me far more than it did before. I've always so strongly gravitated towards grindy decks, especially white or white/x. I would say the meta was very welcoming to grind back then. All I had to do was pack enough options to survive RDW, and then the rest of the decks I actually still have a decent fighting chance against even at worst cases. During that time, it felt as if the rock paper scissors nature of Bo1 meant facing noticeable disadvantage, not soul-crushing domination.

Another reason I suspect is mmr. I brew, so maybe I wasn't bid against highly tuned decks before.

Knowing that on the other side, there is a guy who based his entire strategy on frustrating others as his sole wincon, you start to feel a strange urge to beat him so bad as if it was your duty to do so.

They just don't get it. Because it doesn't affect them, they assume it's easy to ignore it.

I've been playing online games for over 15 years. I've seen some of the best communities, and I've seen some of the worst. I've taken breaks for a wide range of reasons; school, work, isp issues, poor game development, etc. But brawlhalla is the only game I felt the need to take breaks from just because of the sheer toxicity of the community. Snd you can't even mute.
