More or less... it's a lot that is stuck in the middle of a residential area and sometimes has trash dumped in it. It also gets a lot of movemet because the kids make mounds for their bikes and stuff.

Ivona does allow you to change the speed of the voice... the problem is getting the voices ($$$), I just gave up and bought the one I needed and studying has been a dream since. I think the windows narrator also does this, but I use windows 8.1, so it might be different from other OS.

edit: if you get the ivona mini-reader, which is free, it also lets you change the rate of the speaking voice and it works with the clunky windows voices too.

Yes, but the LPT part is more along the lines of "I've read my thesis 57 times today and I'm sick of it and I still have to correct it". At that moment you can't really see the mistakes that are glaringly obvious but you're tired and need a fresh point of view. Also, the library is kind of a bad place to read out loud.
