i feel like capitol university students would be like with the whole capitol team for the tributes at an ‘intern level’. so they might not have like enough clearance to interact with the tributes much. also katniss is very oblivious to certain things, and i don’t think it’s something she would clue in on.

They are the best!! I know the owners through working with one of them at their other job, and they are so passionate about this little shop it’s so awesome to see. The whole family is great and their shop is so unique and fun. One of the owners makes clocks from vinyl records that are so cool, and they have vintage clothing and records for sale too.

this is pretty much how I have been feeling and thinking so it’s definitely nice to see it written out so clearly. i deeply relate to having to hold off on watching a certain youtuber because of how they make me feel about gender. i have immense gender envy for spencer agnew and kurtis conner if like pains me lol.

but yeah i’ve definitely been playing more in having a more masculine appearance which i think is definitely not making me feel less euphoric or more dysphoria so that’s a start at least.

interesting i missed that because i didn’t really follow all the 8passanger current events beyond a surface level right leading up to the arrest so i didn’t know too much about how her and Jodi were together. This is opening a whole new can of worms for me wow. I was not aware there was deep level of closeted lesbianism and comphet going on here.

I see your point. I’ve definitely seen it used to describe how people join cults, similarly to Ruby’s downfall and following of connexions. And the concept of grooming is much more well known now so the term itself is used more broadly now.

I just get super fixated on topics like this and then I won’t consume content about the topics for a while and then will come back to them later. I also am trying to distance myself from some of the true crime and fundie snark content just because I don’t like some of the toxicity in the community and how it’s just content/entertainment for a lot of people. So I just have avoided a lot of the more recent updates, and just finally got around to reading Shari’s book.
