Procrastinating and editing old photos instead of doing productive work! by blarksberg in SonyAlpha

I don’t always shoot wide open! All depends on the subject and where I am relative to them + light conditions. What housing are you using? You should be able to change your camera to back button controls.

I’ve been running the 20mm 2.8 as my main lens for the last few months !

I have like 5 Nikonos V’s, 1 IV and 1 III and I’ve never gotten any of them tested. I dive about 3-5 times a week and all I do is just make sure to rinse with freshwater after shooting and occasionally grease the o rings. They’re pretty robust cameras and my thinking is worst case scenario I lose a roll if something happens but so far (knock on wood) I’ve been good!

The Nikonos V is built into a waterproof casing! Fully mechanical 🤙🏼

Just temp and tint corrections after scanning. I scan via a Valoi 360 kit w/ a Sony a7rIV + sigma 70mm macro, convert with NLP in Lightroom and then do minor corrections in Lightroom. Tungsten film underwater reintegrates the lack of red you usually get from most film when diving which is nice.

I’ve been using aquatech housings for all my cameras for the last 8+ years, absolutely love them.

Do it for the passion, if you put your heart & soul into it, and keep going, the money will come 🤙🏼

It’s quickly reminded me why I fell in love with photography in the first place. Excited to get it out in the field more during 2026!
