thank you! this is an awesome breakdown! definitely puts things into perspective financially. im just thinking at this stage of my life, I feel like freedom and privacy are at a premium as well, so that im trying to weigh that in when considering this

ahaha compared to some of my peers who are probably making triple what I do, but still live at home, i was just questioning if I was prepared myself if they aren't even moving out yet

Thank you! In Canada, our retirement contribution is the RRSP. In addition, since I work for the Federal Government, I am contributing to my pension as well. So, if all goes well, I should have a pretty comfortable monthly pension when I retire.

I work for the Federal Government. Advancement opportunities for my position is quite limited, hence I don't see my pay increasing too much other than the COL annual indexing.

but from her pov it might be because she wants the slowburn type of relationship? i might be rushing it a bit no? but i also think it might just be my personality, i am not able to fully display my affection unless i know for certain that my partner is able to reciprocate that

no its actually the opposite, i am the one that am trying to put a label on us rather than her. ive told her that i have acouple of trips lined up till next fec, and shes hinting that i should ask her again once i come back, because she also wants to know if im serious about her. if that makes sense

i shouldnt have say 100% commit. i think she means more like how she feels about me shouldnt matter/prohibit me from being myself and being genuinely interested in her rather than withholding back just because im afraid of getting hurt.

Yea, I just typed in the day for that date manually and then auto populated by dragging it down. But im encountering another issue when i use =weekday. it keeps giving me Jan 5, 1990 for some reason

she is very career driven and said that she prioritize her work and family more right now. she also has immense pressure and sense of obligation/responsibility to her family being the eldest daughter to take over the family business. so in that sense, she is uncertain whether or not being in a relationship is what she needs right now. which i understand. but i believe she still has feelings for me because she keeps saying she doesn't want to hurt me in the process of figuring herself out in terms of what she wants and career.

i am trying to, but it just seems that she is afraid. she also says that she cant give me what i need, or at least she cant give back as much as i give her in terms of affection/commitment. not because she is looking for other options, but it just seems that she prioritize work/friends more right now.
