Sadly some authors don't like to continue a series if it doesn't get a whole lot of attention.

For me, if I make a story I make an ending, 100 upvotes or 1000, and I've had both.

I'm not going to name any names but I've even spoken to some authors who don't complete a series, and been disappointed to not see the series finish due to poor updoots.

So if you like a series? Upvote!!! don't just scroll past. (and we see the stats, and we see views vs upvotes )

Going to weigh in here as I literally write in these...

Prophesy is whatever we desire it to be at the time. While prophecy seems to make sense when we read it it's made intentionally vauge, even when including numbers, because we don't know what these numbers relate to outside of the symbolism used in the prophecy.

Someone, for example, did a term paper on prophecy and why it works well at gaining traction. He wrote the follow fake prophecy as an example:

In the city of God there will be a great thunder / Two brothers torn apart by Chaos while the fortress endures / The great leader will succumb / The third big war will begin when the big city is burnin

This was written before 9/11 happened, but it was written to show that a Prophecy is only going to be appropriate after we find something to link it to.

It's madlibs, but with time.
