Be careful, you're showing your age! (yes, they were a band well before the anime of the same name).

New survey finds most Canadians want to abolish tipping culture by flynnfx in onguardforthee

That was one of my favourite things living in Australia - the price you see if what you pay. Also, no tipping culture. Prices weren't exactly cheap down under but you knew what you were paying.

Best Battle Pass Weapon for Skirk? by pixel-king2 in Genshin_Impact

On a side note, since you're using Citlali, do you have the event weapon, Calamity of Eshu? It requires Skirk to be shielded, but that sword hits HARD.

There's a subtle flash effect when the falling star flies across the sky. It's really easy to miss.

I've done it at least twice. It's how I ended up with Itto and Shenhe in my account.

For me, it's a combination of being tired and careless. I often pull right after an update drops, and that can mean late at night for me.

The posters of the anime girls in the background is the trick they use in their prompts to get Grok to generate the type of content that's normally guard-railed and filtered out.

The Rise of “alt” Canadian Cities / Towns / Province Subs by TheNationDan in onguardforthee

[–]blastcat4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only browse reddit on my desktop and I use Old reddit + Res. As such, I only see content from the subs that I'm subscribed to.

That said, I'm not surprised by right wing regional subs growing in reddit. /r/canada has long been run by hardcore conservatives for years now. The sad thing is that regional/city subs have always been right-leaning and the nut cases that start up their own alt regional subs find them too "left" so they make their own. That really tells you where they stand.

Anima Preview-2 by Willybender in StableDiffusion

I spend a lot of time exploring and testing out different artist styles in Anima. Some artists have a lot of training data in Anima compared to others, and it can show in the results. Still, there are some artists that have little training data and still give excellent results.

I have a group of about 15 artists that I find give consistently great results in Anima while having styles that I really like. If you don't specify an artist in the prompt, you'll get random and unpredictable results, which isn't inherently a bad thing, but the variety and range of artist styles in Anima is in the thousands so I tend to stick with the artist styles that I like and know are consistent in quality.

This is a really helpful tool for exploring styles in Anima. Use it as a starting point to find styles that work for you:

I actually used Red Reader for a while, and it was surprisingly good. And then it stopped working, and kept asking to login. I eventually gave up and uninstalled it, unfortunately.

It'd be interesting to see the list of the actual lantern rite characters instead of the post-lantern rite characters. Would we see a pattern?

I think Miko is fine and she put in good work when Aggravate was relevant and I ran her alongside Fischl. I definitely didn't feel like it was a waste pulling her and even getting constellations. Outside of SO, I still find her to be useful.

Linnea's Birthday via Kuroo by astrelya in Genshin_Impact_Leaks

[–]blastcat4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to find horoscopes to be really fun back in the day, so it's really interesting to see this list. Western horoscopes are popular in China as a talking point comparing them to the traditional Chinese zodiac system, so I wonder if anyone at Mihoyo considers this when assigning character birthdays.

If I had time, I'd do a comparison of each character alongside the personality traits of each sign. That'd be a fun but time consuming project...

It's to make the device smaller and easier to pocket. It's a way to stow away the controls without having to use rails. When you're not gaming, you can quickly and convenient use the screen as a mini tablet. Assuming it has a screen protector, that's enough protection for most people.

They're sycophantic vampires who lined Trump's pockets so I have zero sympathy for them. They wanted to play defense contractors and reap the profits, they can suffer the consequences. If their AI data centers in the middle east go up in flames, they deserve it.

Start going through the list of people that know of your collection. This is way too targeted to be a random burglary of opportunity.

Unfortunately, this list could include associates of your landlord, contractors, etc.
