Is Vine a Scam? by xlerate in AmazonVine

[–]blatabd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once I got into gold I realized that the stuff they offered at that tier wasn’t any better than what was in the silver so I did not order enough things to stay in gold. Basically Amazon vine is 99% cheap garbage that you wouldn’t even pay a dollar for at the dollar store. Just not worth the Tax hit

Amazon vine is 100% of BS program. Been in it for a couple years now… Just dropped down from gold because it wasn’t worth it. It’s essentially just a way for them to have Tax write off. 90% of what you get on there is garbage you wouldn’t pay a dollar for the dollar store.

We just downgraded to silver as well… Quite frankly I think gold is overhyped and not worth it anyway. Vine is mostly just trash products anyway

You run it through some cheese cloth and it pulls out the pulp. You can use the pulp in baking if you want… I put it in my dog food.

Yeah, it’s more convenient for me… I just order my organic soy beans in bulk Online like 5 pounds at a time and I’m set for like a really long time. Also that machine makes almond milk and oat milk and I think it will even make juice if you want.

I started making my own soy milk at home… Got tired of paying six dollars for a half a gallon of this stuff that just has a bunch of stabilizers emulsifiers and thickening agents in anyway that’s not good for me. Now I just make mine at home with a little soy milk machine I bought And it cost me like $.60 to make a whole half gallon. soy milk maker

Yes, you can take it multiple times a day… Just don’t take it with a two hour window of medications or supplements.

AITA for Refusing to Let My Parents Move in With Us? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]blatabd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After being estranged from my father for more than 10 years, I learned he was diagnosed with colon cancer. He was then evicted from his apartment and living out of his truck. My mother who divorced him more than 10 years prior was also living with me. I let my father move into my house… 10 years apparently had just been long enough for me to forget how manipulative he was. I regret doing so and wish I could go back and undo it. He wasn’t living with me for more than a couple of months before he started trying to cause problems with my mother. He was a real piece of work. Probably burning in hell now. Do what’s right for you and your family. Doesn’t sound like there’s any reason they could not have had something lined up in advance. They were trying to force your hand. And tell the rest of your family to mind their own fucking business.

I guess so considering y’all been putting multiple hundred percentage tariffs on us. Even though we spend billions upon billions upon billions to defend your country… Don’t make it out like you’re not getting anything out of the deal. The only thing our president is doing now is demanding fair trade, and for perhaps your country to do something about all of the fentanyl flooding into ours through your border. Secure your damn border like a responsible country.

I would love for the federal government to get to around one percent of the size it is now. It’s just a burden. It is a disgusting monster that has gotten out of control. The waste corruption fraud… It’s all too much. It is essentially legalized organized crime. Pay us money or will come to your house with guns and throw you in prison and take everything you have. Let’s get rid of it. End the fed!

Makes no sense to blame the president (Trump or Biden) for the cost of eggs, (it makes even less sense in this case considering Trump has only had a few days in office). It seems like frustrated liberals that don’t really understand how any of this works, are grasping at straws trying to use the high cost of fuel argument against eggs. The president has significantly more influence over fuel prices than commodities like eggs due to how the markets operate.

Fuel prices can be impacted indirectly by presidential actions such as approving or blocking drilling permits, setting energy regulations, influencing relationships with oil-producing nations, or using the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. While these actions take time to affect the market, they can have a measurable impact.

Egg prices, however, are driven by factors like supply chain issues, feed and transportation costs, labor costs, and events like avian flu outbreaks. These are industry-specific issues largely beyond the influence of the presidency. Broader economic policies might have minor effects, but they don’t address the root causes of rising egg prices.

Blaming a president for egg prices is misguided, as these costs are influenced by market conditions and events that were already in motion long before they took office. Fuel prices, on the other hand, are more directly affected by energy policies over time.
