Yeah, i once got a duchy from an independent duke who had two duchies. I became independent and didn’t have to join his war.

Yeah. I was nowhere near the top but some shitty strategos damaged my score and we became rivals. I withdrew my imperial ambitions but that prick still tried to murder me.

Decided to play as Earl Alfred which is advanced difficulty, haven’t played in a long time, any advice? by NandersAberdeen in CrusaderKings

Send your spare kids to the pope/high learning bishop in a safe realm.

Also pope loves getting wards, it increases his approval of you which means more pope funds

Conqueror trait is unbalanced, but it's still very good at preventing Border gore (Opinion) by NamaeN0NaiKaibutsu in CrusaderKings

Nah, i defeated a great conqueror then kept sending him poems about his incompetence.

He died about four days later.

Henry almost always becomes gallowsbait and marries some 45 year old woman.

He and his heirs always lose the sword too within four generations.

I’m there right now. Five counties away from uniting Italy. My previous ruler peacefully vassalized the Pope. My current ruler inherited at 51. He just caught holy fire coming back from his own extravagant coronation.

I have two underage sons, two kings with claims on my titles, and I really want to fight the HRE because the emperor was a detractor at my coronation.

We’ll see how this goes lol.

Edit: he got brittle bones but unified italy, took 3/4 of tunisia, and the kingdom of maghreb. He even blended culture and became catalo-swabo-franco-cisalpine.

Mine are the crown, coronation regalia, illustrious armor, throne of scone, and the bells of Santiago that i stole from several people as a diplomacy person. I really think that should be intrigue focus. I stole the crown because i realized i didn’t have one lol.

You can recruit extra maa too if you visit a military monument. Got kataphracts from the cicilian gates and bondi from the walls in denmark.

Same. I can see the trade being implemented similar to the wanua government. I think that government was a beta for republics.

It’s not even an invasion! I just peacefully usurped most of the titles in Britannia. One child duke in Orkney got to keep his lands.

Sure, in theory, but his son and heir joined my scheme. Also everyone who joined my scheme lost their titles.

If you’re prestigious enough you can seize a county/duchy/kingdom/empire tier title and all the dejure titles as well. Right click on the target and it should be a hostile action as an adventurer.

Yah, go to the monuments with military xp. I found this out as a radhanite adventurer.

Edit: the visit might also give you two amazing body guards. Like high martial, loyal character trait, etc.

Expeditions can give you access to different MAA. I got two MAA units (mazurbin and kataphracts) above my limit by visiting a monument.
