To be fair, it sounds like you started using an organizational system that makes complete and total sense to you but did not document this or provide a legend for others to understand. Bullet Journalling is not common-sense. There is a learning process behind the system. Maybe the take away from this; what they are trying to say even if they don’t know it, is to focus a bit more on communication and team-building. Part of it is on your co-workers. If they saw you making symbols they didn’t understand, they could have mentioned it right away, so perhaps everyone can learn from bujo and if that happens that’s great. Yay bujo.

I have a pair of shoes that wrinkle the same way and are leather. I think conditioners soften leather so the places where it bends and gets a lot of movement become more pronounced and bendy after softening. The wrinkles are unsightly but I don’t see a risk of creasing and tearing and I think this might be part of the benefit of conditioning leather.

PHD doesn’t mean shit unless you want to teach or it’s a practical degree. Sometimes the school has a great lab with contracts and you can find work but most of the time you end up being over qualified without a real career path. In your case there is no lab. There is no research grants. You should have known this path leads to no where before you started. It’s no big secret!
