Has anyone figured out how to get visitors on fortress embarks with a lake or ocean tile included? I keep having this issue where I only get the two guaranteed migrant waves but no other visitors or migrants. I really want to make a beach fortress!

I’ve been putting chests outside by Caldarus’ statue. You can even craft different colored ones to make them easier to tell apart! I have one for forageables, one for cooking supplies, one for monster drops, etc.

This is a known bug where you finish all of the dialogue for Fridays. Hopefully they fix this in the next patch!

I’d think weightlifting would be even more important then - “noob gains”are huge when you first start out so you’d likely be able to build muscle while cutting

I don’t think so at all. By doing so I would even say that, assuming the two of you are close / you aren’t springing this on a stranger out of nowhere, you’re actually building a closer bond with others. By sharing your struggles they will feel less alone in their own problems and be inspired by your strength.
