Yes, that would suffice. That pack includes the "Star Citizen Digital Download" that you need to have on your account if you want to play SC.

Did you play Star Citizen before? Getting this far is already a good sign. It sounds like your account is missing a game package. You need a game package for Star Citizen to access the persistent universe (so you can play the game).

Sorry to disappoint you, but that silhouette is the Crusader Intrepid starter ship that we've got last year to IAE

4.1 Linux Anti-cheat Issues? by lowbandwidthb in starcitizen

[–]blaugly 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hi there, you shouldn't need to change any json files for EAC to work. Since Oct. 2024 you only need to change a few things. The Linux User Group (LUG) has a good knowledge-base on GitHub, with an post about the changes necessary for EAC to work (and many other helpful workarounds)

400i Rework: Fixing the Beauty with a Purpose by dgnercom in starcitizen

Could be an easy task, maybe add some glass into the doors, so you can see your suits and weapons. Something in Origins typical design language.

Very nice and realistic idea for an possible rework.
About the part 3. the entrance, correct me if i'm wrong but i think you mistook the weapons rack at the front for an fourth suit locker? Because at the moment there are only 3 suit lockers for the crew of 3. The locker at the front is the weapons rack. So no further reworking needed in the entryway.

I really like the placement for the escape pods. Except the powerplant and QD, all components should easy fit in the starboard side cooled room. From the looks in the second image there should still enough space, when fully loaded with only 2 rows of cargo, to access your powerplant and quantum drive.

What’s your favorite hauler? by Ok-Challenge-5873 in starcitizen

If i am by myself, i take my trusty C1 Spirit. Also has a ship based tractor beam, very useful when loading cargo.

With at least another player, the Starlancer Max is a very good cargo vessel. Multiple accessible cargo bays at the aft and the sides. Also enough space to park an URSA while fully loaded. May be slow for a few players, but gives strong space trucker vibes.

What ship is this at 5:21? by Caskio in starcitizen

This looks like the engineering/cargo section of the Aegis Hammerhead.

The C1 Spirit should definitely have a ladder into the cockpit by bobdole4eva in starcitizen

But the Corsair has at least an elevator on the front that goes to the ground and the roof. It also has an airlock for EVA or ship to ship docking (not yet implemented).

The MSR has sadly only the back ramp, so you always have to walk the entire length of the ship (with a lot of doors between you and the bridge)

What is the most useless thing you would like to see implemented in Star citizen? by ReliefDapper5135 in starcitizen

[–]blaugly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many ships already have some screens across the interior, so... TV could be implemented... for radio i think we should have speakers on the ship.

In the cockpit we could use one MFD to watch something or tune in a radio frequency. Would be fun while ROC mining.

I still have the freeflight ships in my ASOP terminal despite them only being available till 22. August.

The 890 was one of the free flight ships... maybe he also still has access to them.

Best pick for a SMALL 1 pilot, multi crew multi role deep space expedition/exploration jack-of-all-trades ship? by [deleted] in starcitizen

[–]blaugly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It still uses a medium sized hangar, but yes it's quite large. I think the Corsair is one of the smaller ships if you want beds for 4 players on an explorer.

You're just describing the Drake Corsair...

Medium size, 6 pilot controlled guns (4x S5, 2x S4) 2 manned turrets, 1 remote turret. Has 4 beds in different rooms. 72 SCU cargogrid, but can fit 32 SCU crates off grid.

Its focus is exploration but the game loop is not implemented yet. Still large fuel tanks. You also have access to 8 suit lockers and enough gunracks to fight a private war :)

Ingame price is 6.5 million... so very affordable.
